This man was. Over a hundred years old at the moment of recording and yet he speaks clearer than most people half his age. Truly the Greatest Generation.
Thank you for giving these hero’s a platform and thank you Jack, for your service. God Bless!
This one means a lot to me,Jack was born the same month my great-grandmother was and I made my cry knowing we have lost another. She passed away a week ago, she was on the homefront manufacturing equipment during WW2. We are losing this generation, and I fear mine will be the last to have grown up in a truly free America.

Daniel you need to be a man stop acting like a child
Awesome. These stories and videos should be a mandatory watch for all High School kids. ESPECIALLY for those candy asses that are "offended" by every little thing. You think you have it bad because you have no cell service? You got no fucking idea kid...R.I.P. Jack Holder- Thank you for all you did for this country!!
Fair winds and calm seas Jack. Thank you for all you did. WW 2 is dangeously close to the edge of living history. It is our duty to listen to the veterans of this war and remember them and those who gave us their all.
Thank you for getting interview and hearing Jack's story. Many don't hear or read past history which makes me lead to the conclusion why many take this country for granted and be self-absorbed. This country is not perfect but still the greatest country to live in. Jack, thank you and all the men and women who served this country. 🇺🇸
What an absolute legend, rest easy Jack.
Fair winds and calm seas Jack, Thank you for everything you did for this country.
That’s an insane amount of missions to survive. God Bless you Jack and all others who fought for the USA.
This guy is a BEAST. Thank you for your service! Love these videos.
Fair winds and following seas, shipmate. Thank you and all of the unsung heroes; the patrol squadrons, the auxiliary ships, the support and admin units, and many more than I can list. Without them, the front line units, the capitol ships, etc. could not do their jobs!! Thank you BRCC for continuing to be a platform for these stories to come to light. To all, stay safe and healthy & Check 6! - Cold War US Navy Vet

Amen brother, couldn’t say it better myself…..
Had the privilege to meet Mr. Holder along with many other Pearl Harbor Vets at Schofield in 2014. Life changing event for me.
Thank you so much for this interview.. I hope Mr Holder and his compatriots are never forgotten...
I'm not sure how his plane was able to even take off with his massive balls
What a great story from a great man. Thank you all for putting this together.
Thank you BRCC, thus was probably my favorite profile video yet! Not only was this Gentleman a WWII vet, he was in one of the rolls not often talked about or given credit to. WELL DONE!!!
Thank you for bringing these incredible people to life.
My uncle flew at the same time. Winton Whittier Marshall. My other uncle went down on the arizona. Alex vargas. 4 more uncles joined at the end of ww2.
This is the first KZread video in history to actually make me cry Rest In Peace Jack may God give you comfort up there in heaven Thank you for your service.
Defintely America’s greatest generation! I wish a lot of Americans had an ounce of patriotism as this man! RIP sir🫡🇺🇸
Shall all of us, including the generations to come, never forget the reality of the world we live in and the dedication and sacrifice that must be made to keep this country the best in the world. To all those who choose to serve and those who serve honorably by action, I know myself and mine will not forget. Thank you to Jack, his family and may he rest in peace after the service and the life he gave after. Its not just the service. It's the life you live after. Thank you.
Respect. God bless. Thank you for your service.
Fair winds and following seas Jack. Thank you for your service sir. These stories need to be heard.
What a clear memory this brother has after so much and so long. I loved every second of this. Thanks guys!
BRCC, thanks so much for bringing us this story. Jack Holder thankyou for your service 🙏 what a legend 👏
Thank you for your admirable service, may you rest easy sir! Thanks BRCC!
Fair Winds and Following Sea's Jack Holder! Thank you for your OUTSTANDING service! BRCC thank you for Giving us a personal History of Pearl Harbor and WW11 through Jack living it! I agree with the comments that state this type of interview should be seen in all High Schools and Home Schools. Every Time I see our flag, I'm reminded of those that gave it all! and to all those that served!
Thank you for you courage, sacrifice and service for freedom 🇺🇸
It's like with that interview God said; Mr. Holder, your mission is complete. I had a chance many years ago to meet and shake the hand of Ensign Gay (mention by Jack in this interview) at an airshow at Midway Airport in Chicago. I have his book signed by him. There needs to be an emoji of someone saluting for videos like this. Thank You BRCC for posting veterans stories like this.
Absolutely amazing story. What a hero. This generation has no idea what it is to serve Or the very real prospect that your country might lose a war. Great job, sir. Thank you BRCC for sharing.
He was a great man. Glad I got to hear his story. Thanks, guys, for bringing this to me.
Thank you for sharing your story with us. JACK HOLDER 👊🏻🇺🇸
Thank you Jack you are a true American hero. RIP
This is great to see everytime. We grew up hearing the war stories of the Great Generation. They were and are our heroes. Fair winds and follow seas shipmate. Bravo Zulu.
Thank you, Black Rifle that was wonderful.
WOW! They don’t make them like that anymore. Truly, the greatest generation!
Sure hate we're losing this great generation but I'm glad these stories are living on
Very few WW2 people now living, I miss them terribly. Thank you BRC.
Great story seen through the eyes of a man who loves his country and did his best to defend it against all odds. God Rest His Soul!
Amazing story. God bless you for telling it just in time.
Rest in peace Mr Holder your brothers were proudly waiting for you at the gates. Thank you for protecting our country and keeping it safe for our generations now even though your generation is the best generation this country ever had. And yes Hawaii was Beautiful back in the day, we lost a lot of our luster but we still have beautiful locals keeping Hawaii…. Hawaii
Ty God bless and keep you. It was an honor to hear your story.
Thank you Jack you are a true American hero. Men like you are the reason we the American people are free. God bless you and all the service members that served our country.
Fair winds and following seas, Jack. Your generation will always be known as those who came up from nothing during the depression, and went on to liberate millions all over the world. You then asked nothing more than to come home and raise your families and build a career. You started more businesses, founded more companies, were made of nails, and all seemed to have lived to be 90+. Your dedication to your country, your family, sense of and dedication to your community are your legacy. They are what I cherish the most and try to use as an example of what to do and how to live my own life. I will continue to tell your stories until my dying day. It’s the least I can do for what you did for us.

Millennials and Gen Z are so many companies and are better.
On point- Great interview, the guy knew his facts! He's joined his shipmates now. God rest him.
Ladies and gentlemen of the Internet. This Sailor is the “Greatest Generation”. My Uncle Calvin was Pacific Theater WWII US Navy. We will not have this Generation much longer. To all who have served 🫡🇺🇸
Thank you, Big Brother. We won't forget you. 🇺🇸
This was a great interview and the fact his mind was still that sharp I was in tears to see he had passed away what a great man and most of Thank You for your service you will be remembered for your bravery and your loyalty to this country
The B24 was one of the few aircraft of WWII that was well designed, well armed, and well named "The Liberator". It is also the most forgotten aircraft of WWII. It should be up there with the Spitfire, Lancaster, P51 and B17 as one of the most effective WWII aircraft, not just for its capability but for the heroism of its crews. The "forgotten war " in Italy proved beyond doubt that this aircraft and its crews were "the best". Jack Holder makes "Jack Reacher" look like a girl scout. Although from a different time, service and rank I salute you. Thank you.
Wow this is an insane Reality. What this man has seen and been through is the unthinkable. For him to see the country so broken makes me feel like we have let him down and disrespected everyone else that have lost there life's diffending this country , we need to fix this country we owe all of are fallen heros the respect they deserve . GOD BLESS
A hero for all rip sir I'm glad I heard your story.

The greatest generation.
Such a clear mind for 101 years. Wow. So, he was apparently honorably discharged as a Machinist's Mate 1st Class. How did he get his wings without becoming an officer?
Thenk you.
We need more of this in schools MANDATORY. We must prepare these generations of Americans to protect this country if the time come!

meh. in the 1920's running toilets were scarce and telephones were for rich folk. This story told a hundred thousand times makes no sense. I was poor. I joined the army because it paid better.
