BRCC Presents: War Hippies

Ойын-сауық

"Killin' It" is an understatement when describing the duo music sensation that is the War Hippies. Marine vet Scooter Brown and Army vet Donnie Reis honored us with the story of how the War Hippies came to be.

I have been listening for a while, as a civilian i get a certain amount of conception of the story's you tell. Its enough to remind me why im proud to be born under such a beautiful flag. 2 of my biggest roll models growing up were my uncle's. Both Vietnam vets one army and one navy. I have no father so these vuys stepped up. Both are gone now, one just passed this last week. I may be a cvivi but i understand as much as as civi can what your sacrifices mean for us. I have nothing but love for all who have served, and that are and all that will serve. Thank you don't carry much weight, but thank you

I skipped over this video a few times today thinking it was Matt trying to be a country star again... hahaha Glad I finally clicked it because that was waaaaaay better than any singing he's done! Met Charlie Daniels in Iraq back in 06 and then met Randy Travis in Plano Texas back in 2010. Both of those guys are some of the most genuine kind people I've ever met!

We still got this as it is not over yet so let's set aside our so called "DIFFERENCES" which separates us from one another and win this battle! I love you all and may you remain blessed and vigilant!! 💯💞💪🏼🙏🏼✝️👑🦁🐑💯
