Hey man wondering if i can get your quick in input- been seeing a chick last few weeks, initially she was all over me, pursuing me, setting up dates, even brought me a gift 2nd time meeting. We were talking on instagram daily and having a date a week (I know talking daily online not the best thing), she started to take longer to reply, the last week she said sorry I've been more distant I've been depressed it's not you, then she rescheduled a date with me. We had a good time but I could feel that we were slightly turned off from eachother compared to last time, I believe we have some different views of the world and politics which were brought up. But regardless we had a great time overall and had amazing sex, ending the night on a high note. The next day I said I had an amazing time and would love to see you again let me know when you’re next free. She said yes for sure :)) I asked if she was free that day she said sorry I have plans. A few days later I said me and my friends are going to have drinks for the 4th want to come? She maybe because she got invited to other plans and was still deciding. She was taking at least 24 hours to reply in-between these points and was being quite cold with responses - she said sorry I won’t make it :( I said Hey no worries! Have a fun day, reach out another time when you’re free and want to hang out again. She opened the message right away and has left it on seen the last 4 days. Did I handle this correctly? I'm thinking maybe I should have said no worries have fun and then did no contact and reached out a week later? That way she would have wondered if I would ever contact again and a higher chance to get another date. Thanks!
Been dating a girl with a tween kid for about 2 years. Things were amazing and we saw each other about every 3 weeks, which was a good balance for me. We talked on the phone every day. Mornings before work , after work for at least an hour. and she'd call me at least once during work to check up on me. We both admitted that we fell in love with each other. Its been amazing for 2 straight years. We even started seeing each other once a week for about 2 months then out of nowhere, When things were on a high. She started pulling away for about 2 months now. She might call me once a day now. But she mostly keeps it messaging. I havent seen her in 2 months because every weekend she seems to be busy with stuff she has to do. Even without prior plans. Seems like shell fill in her time with stuff to avoid seeing me. I ask her to hang out and she says" ill see im not sure what im doing this weekend." She use to be very loving in the way she talks to me on the daily but now it seems very basic. Barely calls me baby. Use to call me that all the time. She gets annoyed alot quicker and wants to get off the phone quicker than i do alot now. Its fucked up because this happened right as i felt myself falling Deep for her. I tried to have a talk about whats going on with her but she just tells me that shes been stressed , tired, and has alot going on. But when i try to talk to her about what shes going through, she blocks me out. Says its more personal. So now i feel stuck in limbo. Shes the love of my life for real. The previous talks of marraige and kids really got to my head. Help please

Of course...it's his way of controlling the situation. I don't know the details of your situation, but my first thought is; you may have no way out, but he can't make you participate. Not ideal, but it may help you push back a bit instead of feeling powerless.

I read so many marriage books and none of them say stuff like this and i believe their advice could potentially be right for someone else but so far in my personal experience this kind of advice has produced much better results for my ten year deteriorating marriage - producing attraction
Attraction is key in keeping a woman's interest. I'm sure the marriage books are helpful in some aspects, but much of that kind of advice is very vanilla so as not to hurt anyone's feelings. Plus, not many people actually understand attraction.

I had a different problem yesterday night. So, since we're both in college and living with our parents and siblings, we are not really guaranteed privacy. Therefore we don't have sex when others are at home with us (we either do handjobs and fingering, or simply cuddle). Yesterday my apartment was free so we couldn't be disturbed and had guaranteed privacy, after one year in a relationship, this is when we have privacy finally.
