Unrelated question. I was the rebound guy and I moved slow, set dates, hooked up. I also pulled away when she pulled away casually texting to check in and say hi, missing you hope all is well. I work with her and she blows hot and cold like crazy and started texting me at work only and not on weekends. Her hot and cold looked like suffering and painful to watch. Yesterday she was unusually warm and flirty at work asking me to lunch bantering with her sister on speakerphone. She text me on our way home and I tried to set up a definite date and asked about Valentine’s Day and she dropped a grenade telling me she’s seeing a new guy and she’s sorry and grateful for all the support I gave. Wtf??? I did everything right, kept text at a minimum. Moved slow, let her come to me and still lost. Do we just strike out sometimes no matter how well we follow principles? She got a new dude and not the ex so she claims. Since her break up, all this has transpired in about 3 months. Are we both rebounds or did she use me to move on to the new?

i met this woman yesterday on a festival. i guess i did things right because she kept standing next to me instead of going to her friends and leave me alone... she was my age and a nurse, i found her sweet and we talked for a few hours until i found out that she's in a relationship and has a child... i guess i had to ask her way sooner if she's single but hey, i'm already happy that i made a move so . during the conversation i just asked her for her number and so she gave it to me, her actual number because i send her a text that i liked meeting her and i hope to see her again sometime. She replied with a clear message that she didn't want anything coming out of this. So i was a bit confused but i just don't get it that she did give me the real number and replied to me?? I think i'm really cursed in a way because i see to get more no's than yes's even though i believe i'm an attractive guy.

You'll always get more no's than yes's...that's the case for everyone, unless maybe they're Brad Pitt, or whoever young women drool over these days. But if I were in your shoes, I wouldn't take what she said too seriously & ask her out anyway. Sometimes women test you to see if you're passive & too agreeable, which women find unattractive in a man.

Had something similar recently. Matched with someone online. After a few messages I asked her on a date. She didn't answer but wanted to keep to just texting. I told her to get back when her schedule is free as I don't want a pen pall.

Is it possible to have the option to select accurate subtitles instead of forcing to have subtitles?

There's the closed captions option, but apparently many don't know about that. I don't know how accurate it is though. A pretty big percentage of viewers watch videos with the sound off. But I'm open to feedback.

Maybe, but I wouldn't say it's the reason they do it. Though, chasing her & getting emotional will most likely end up as comedy gold for her & her girlfriends,.
