    I had a stillborn son at 27 weeks in July of 2022. In Sept of 2023 we got pregnant again, and successfully gave birth in May of 2024. But like Winter said, after a loss, your heart and mind are traumatized, and subsequent pregnancies will be filled with new worries. With my last pregnancy, we decided to buy a home baby Doppler, which we used almost everyday to check his heartbeat. I also downloaded the Counting Kicks app, which I used starting at 25 weeks. I also agree with being our own advocate to doctors and nurses, even if they call us hypochondriacs. 😅 Thank you Winter for sharing your story! 💙

    Follow up question. What if it’s a first time pregnancy and you’re rh-null? All the same issues? Is there any for sure sign? Or you have to contact a provider? Never had an ultrasound or anything was 23 days late and tested and kept a getting negative and invalid, now there’s a lot of these symptoms what should one do?

    Talking to your provider about your symptoms and concerns is the best option for you! Ultrasounds and bloodwork are the best way to know for sure. I'm sorry you're dealing with this stress :(

    To use Natural Family Planning effectively, you don't need to be predictable at all! The point of the process is to track the signs of ovulation. No matter how unpredictable your cycle is, you can very precisely tell when are you fertil. You have to check at least two fertility signs at the same time to be sure. Make sure to learn the method from a professional though.

    Thank you for the video! ❤ I have a sensation of a full bladder even though it's not full (did the scans, urologists didn't find anything abnormal). Now I think that it's due to the "just in case pee". When I was a kid my family was always like: "You have to go to the bathroom now, because later there won't be any toilets nearby". It also contributed to my toilet anxiety, even to agoraphobia. I was constantly worried about having a bathroom nearby and I was always focused on the sensations in the bladder. Now I try to resist when my mind is telling me to go pee just in case, but the sensations are frustrating and annoying. But I really hope that I can retrain my brain to react only to the full bladder, and not every hour or even half an hour when in public places. The dehydration part is also so true. I feel much better when I'm hydrated, though it felt counterintuitive at first and I tried to drink as little as possible (made everything worse and caused a lot of problems).

    Thanks for the review ive just started using a menstrual disk and love it...good to know that part actually works and not just marketing. But also as someone who has had partners who were absolutely not bothered by "mess" having s3x on your period without it is fine too. Back in the day it was just lots of towels now you can buy lush waterproof blankets that are easily washable and for me and my partners well we just ended up in the shower together which is I have to say is always a nice way to end 😊 it's all really down to personal preference but if you meet a guy who is absolutely repulsed by periods thats a major red flag and run.

    I definitely prefer period panties to pads or tampons, I use modibodi and bambodi. They are very comfortable and feel just like regular underwear . My friend suggested we use them for my 11 year olds bedwetting because she said they can work for incontinence, but she leaked right through them so we went back to goodnites ( pull ups for big kids who still wet the bed ) and they are awsome! My daughter has always been a heavy wetter so I'm guessing that period panties work better for issues like LBL. Im so happy about period panties because they're more comfortable than pads or tampons and I can get around in them so easily. Great video!❤

  • @DoctorNicole
    @DoctorNicoleАй бұрын

    I've also tried bambody and loved them as well! As far as period underwear for bedwetting, I agree they are not made to hold a large flow of liquid like that and I'm also unsure if it would wick away the urine well enough to protect the skin. Amazing for periods tho!! Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment!

  • @user-rd3co1sk1h
    @user-rd3co1sk1hАй бұрын

    @@DoctorNicole Your are very welcome! Yes bambodi is great! Yeah I think period underwear could maybe work for LBL issues ( like peeing your pants a little when you laugh )but definitely not the amount of pee a big bedwetting accident involves, but like I said her goodnites take care of that perfecrly! And yes they are they are great for my period!♥️
