    I wouldn't be buying the Emira based on flat out performance figures and trying to compare it to other cars. This to me will be a totally emotional purchase, how the car makes you feel, its got gorgeous Supercar looks and so different and will turn alot more aheads than the Cayman. I don't really care about figures, so bored with them now. I don't do track days, its a car you want to own and be seen in on normal roads and that is 100% good enough for me.

    It wasn't built for that application, but rather an off road one. Now to be fair, put all those others on your chart off road and see which one is on top.

    918 is better engineered, more reliable (mechanically and performance wise), and more luxurious. But you CANNOT deny the fact that the P1 is more of a driver’s car, with less room for track comfortability and confidence, offering a more exhilarating experience, which intuitively, is the main dish of a racecar. It is also more capable, but requires a TON of skill coupled with the correct conditions. At the end of the day, it’s all preference…

    I did an "indycar drive experience" (best fun i've ever had) and also got a chance to do a few laps on a closed course in the BAC mono. The mono was the closest thing to the indycar i think anyone could drive, although it's a little "tamer". And doesn't beat the heck out of you. Overall i did about 10 miles in the indycar and my hands were blistered and torn despite the gloves, my back, shoulders, and hips were sore for days, and my neck hurt for almost two weeks! The effort and g forces cannot be explained, they need to be experienced. The BAC mono was only a six mile run, but could have physically done 30+ miles pushing it. Both, however, leave you mentally exhausted and high as a kite!

    Sad that I have the skill to handle one of these but I'll never get to prove it. I never got my chance. Being born with a twisted spine made sure of that. I got by driving while working as a speed courier until 2 years ago when I got nailed while at a redlight... they didn't even hit the brakes and hit me at full speed, I'm in a wheelchair now and driving hurts too much to go back to work doing what I loved. I never even came close to having the means to go racing and all my skills went to waste. Life is pain!

    Me and a friend went there last October. Him in an ST2 and me in a tuned Saab 9³. Not quite V8 Aston's but both with enough power and proper suspension. I've been a lucky boy and driven some great roads, but these are the best 👌 Cheers Henry.

    I've only just became aware of this video. I know these roads well. The A939 from Corgaff over the Lecht ski station to Tomintoul is my favourite. Fortunately I live only 45 min drive away. The view of the road as it rises from the Corgarff viewpoint up to the ski station is immense. And it's mostly deserted, especially on a weekday.

    I'm sorry but these ECOTY's have become much like F1. A predictable, Foregone Conclusion. I've watched them for years, back in the early 2000's I read about them in your magazine. The results have always been the same. The Hot hatch does well considering. The mega expensive, elaborate GT is a let down. The fast SUV and Sports car are worthy contenders. But the (more often than not) track focused German car (Porsche/ BMW) takes the win. Yawn. Driven on empty Welsh roads. What about when Driven on the real roads? With roadworks. Potholes. Traffic and Passengers? Totally predictable content. In 2024 I'll just look at the lineup. No need to watch the video. I guarantee I can pick the order of last to first.

    I only use Shell or Texaco and I’ve sometimes used a few other fuels on emergencies but V-Power is by far the best, also do look at your cars manual or gas tank and see the recommended octanage use

    Need a driver mod an re-run both cars. To much Revs going into turns. Just sounded like the driver wasnt comfortable with the car, but that was only listening 😅 but the McLaren’s are so light when you apply to much rpm going into turns they wana straighten out instantly.

    And the McLaren Senna? That is the record holder on VIR in the US as part of Car & Driver magazine's "Lightning Lap". No other car has beaten the Senna over the last 5 years. Let's get them to test the latest BAC Mono if it is street-legal in the US.

    No start-stop button in the new version and no mention of the feature at all in the manual. Anyone who can say with certainty whether this means there's no auto stop & start OR there is but can't be disabled?

    We need a Early evo video, I own an Evo 1 GSR and I’m 16! I got my dream car at 16, named em Sudo and keeping him safe for now, but is such an easy car to drive and it’s spectacular! The GC8 WRX was great too, I will always love the Evo forever more, but the Impreza has my respect and WRX Owners and Evo Owners should really connect with that lovely rivalry Mitsu and Subie had.

    The vehicle is really cool looking but unless the wheels are made to be retractable this is a very inefficient water craft pushing those large wheels through the water.. There are a number of other amphibious vehicles that work far better. and plane on the water at high speeds.

    This superb video inspired me to buy a 4.3 Vantage manual and spend a small fortune refining/upgrading the suspension, damping, brakes etc to morror this car. Totally worth every penny! Superb...

    I agree with this. Switched to Shell Premium gas and my performance greatly improved on my 08 Chevy HHR SS. Quieter engine with no random noise. Hit the gas and you're gone. I also do not need fuel injector cleaners as long as I use this.
