2022 Ferrari Purosangue revealed | evo UNWRAPPED
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Designed to remove the final barrier for those unable to find a Ferrari to suits their needs, the four-seat Purosangue takes on the likes of the Lamborghini Urus and Aston Martin DBX. Unlike its rivals though, it has a naturally-aspirated V12 under the bonnet, and comes with a definite supercar flavour to set it apart from the pack. Jethro Bovingdon dives into the details and explores its controversial design.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but those rear seats look incredibly spacious. And I love that the rear passengers get actual seats similar to the front, not some bench.

The side skirts do a really good job of making it look like a higher riding Lusso but with a Roma front and rear end. It also makes it look like a 2 door.

Weird, heard alot of BS from him. He has no clue about design.
I’ve never been this excited for an SUV. They could have gone the Urus route, and I would have never cared about it. Ferrari decided to put in their proper V12, and give it their proper weight distribution. Yes, it’s much more expensive than the Urus, but it’s properly impressive.
As a concept, absolutely not. What they have actually pulled off… they might just have nailed this.

I can't imagine what they could have done any better. As has been rightly said, they seem very confident with the car and that's usually a very good sign. Roll in the good times!
I like how ferrari can blend in typical Ferrari sportscar with a luxury element..in particular the interior. It really sets ferrari apart. Lamborghini urus simply doesn't have that element

It's heavy? So it's going to have a smoother, and more stable ride. I wish the taillights were round though. But those rear suicide doors got me, and the rear seat configuration is the best.
Honestly, this looks better than some of Ferrari's normal sports cars. Never thought I'd say this, I'm ok with a Ferrari SUV. If I lived on Lake Como and wanted to take a ski trip to Chamonix for the week... this would fit the bill.

I think they did the best they could with the brief and there are some lovely design details. If it was just a bit lower and was a three door instead of a five door, it would be a GTC 4 and then it would be perfect 👌in fact, if there is a GTC4 lusso on the cards in the future, this SUV makes me think it'll be a stunner.

@@frankchan5547 I agree, I think the GTC4 is a car that falls into a space that people are not interested in now, people with lots of money get the SUV and then the smaller sports car to cover the bases the GTC4 tried to but with a wider remit. I remember when Harry Metcalfe took the 812 down through Europe on his video, it was fun but slightly compromised. This car would be well suited to that trip and although not as much fun, still has the V12 and possibly good ( for the weight ) handling for the more twisty bits.

The profile of the long snout and big bottom reminds me of the Infiniti FX and EX crossovers. Obviously not in the same realms in terms of overall design but for an SUV I prefer that look over the big square bodied behemoths on the road today.
Much better looking than I expected. I actually love it! Can't wait to see what it will do on the road vs Aston Martin and that other company...you know, the one with the Bull.

Impressive, MAGNIFICENT, STUNNING, monumental, I haven't seen a WORK OF ART as incredible as this FERRARI in a long time, simply PHENOMENAL. Yes, the Italians are the WIZARDS of AUTOMOBILISTIC design 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 And Ferrari's INTERNAL luxury is another thing to extol. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️😍❤️😍❤️😍
Everybody take a deep breath, Enzo is dead since 30 years, we are evolving every second and the Purosangue is amazing.
Very good looking. Subjectively better (to me) than a FF I admit.
First it's a crossover. This is as furthest possible from a proper SUV. Styling? Well, given the brief for a high riding stance, 5 door car that have to incorporate Ferrari design language, I think they did a cracking job. However, imagine that the brief was to be something like a 4 door Ferrari, a bit like a Quattroporte, a Rapid or a Lagonda, etc. It could be a V12, 4WD still but on a much more elegante and in my opinion suitable 3 volume shape to Ferrari's design language. Those tail lights would look awesome on a saloon, as well as the frameless doors, etc. But I guess we will have to live with it, so lets just hope there are brave and cool enough owners to use them properly, this will look wacky and cool with bike racks, travel boxes, surfboards, roof tent on a Ferrari...? Hell yeah...😎 Cracking video as usual!

This will sell out for years in advance. The market has been primed for this for over a decade and with a V12 and no hybrid rubbish, it will be the most desirable car from Ferrari for many years to come. Brilliant job Ferrari! This will destroy the competition.

Kinda wish that Ferrari had stuck to their guns and not made an SUV, nevertheless, they have built a pretty, damn, good one and one can't ignore the economics of the car market. "I'm somewhere between 5'11 and 6'6" - huh?

About 500 kg extra over the 812 for an extra diff and half shafts, 2 seats, 2 doors and some stilts? On a full tank the same weight as a Model S Plaid, a big batter, spacious liftback. Like Jethro said “Ferrari don’t need to make the car” so why did they! Greed! Shareholders!
Nice Design...👍👍
Epic car! really like the progressive design language beautifully sculpted! the original cockpit design is just extraordinary! This Ferrari sets new standards for the class makes even the Lamborghini Urus look ordinary in comparison! I would like to also mention the upcoming start up Italian electric car brand AEHRA is launching it's first premium SUV designed by ex Lamborghini designer Filippo Perini.
This is likely a great car that will sell well. It's also strongly against the brand. Ferrari is playing with fire here: they have built one of the strongest brands in the world by sticking to their guns on what they represent. Selling an SUV risks turning Ferrari into just another car maker.
Without these aero bridges in the front wings they could instead have put that carbone fiber insert in the hood like on the 812COMPETIZIONE wich would have gived it a more agressive look. For sure, in term of aerodynamic it might not have done the job so well. Concerning the suicide rear doors, in one of my previous comment i did mentioned it would be nice on the PUROSANGUE to have rear doors like that just like on the MAZDA RX-8 and... That's what they did (iknow, iknow it's not because of me).
I had to rewind the video 3x and turn caption on because of the part where he said I'm between 5'11 and 6'6. First I'm like... how does this man not know his height and secondly, the difference between 5'11 and 6'6 is quite a spread 😆. Btw, great review ☺️
