    Hi I wouldn’t recommend leaving in flax gel because the hold is super hard! You can try it but you should have the flax to oil ratio very small (meaning the flax gel should be very little quantity) I prefer aloe gel as a leave in

    I have 59-60 in this video. I just switched to mini braids because I want a smoother style look. For weddings you can do so many styles. Now that my braids are smaller I can make the hair wavy or curl the ends (heatless) wear cute waves in the front, style in with a hair claw etc so many more options 💕

    What’s a great protective style that can help you with thin edges? As well as help your hair grow? I have trichotillomania and I tend to pull my hair out when I’m anxious (usually around my front and back edges. As well as the middle part at the top of my head). It’s not really bad or too visible but I want to learn how to care for my hair from now so I won’t struggle in my future. Thanks for reading and thanks for your help.❤

    Sure sorry you are going through that, I’m not a doctor but I wonder if you can divert the attention to something harmless such as scalp massage vs hair pulling? I’m not sure how it works though and I wish you better health with it. A great hairstyle for thinning edges would be any style such as braids or twists but wearing them in loose buns or a style where your hair isn’t pulled or weighted down. Let me do more research on it and get back to you 💕

    3 months may be too long, shed hair may accumulate too much at the roots. I recommend 2 months max as she said in the video, especially if you're starting out. I speak from experience, 'cause I leave my minibraidd for two months at a time, and I've been doing this since last October.

    Thanks for sharing your routine and advice. One question on how often you recommend shampooing. Near the 5 min mark you say you wash every 1-2 weeks but near the end you say twice a week. Years ago my hair did grow when I left it in braids/twists and washed every 2 weeks but now all the natural hair gurus say was 1-2x per week. Just wondering which approach you follow. Thanks and in addition to an amazing head of hair, your nails are out of this world! 😊

  • @tialynn1111
    @tialynn11115 күн бұрын

    Yess I mention in the comments I meant to say twice a month💕 I would do what’s best for you, when your hair is in braids, you can wash them in braids 1x a week and your hair will not get tangled as twists do. But the key is to make sure make sure that your shampoo is Diluted!! Over washing can strip the hair. So make sure it is diluted orrrr just wash with fresh aloe gel!!! Thank you!!💕
