What grows hair?
✅Commitment
✅Consistency
✅Care (being extremely gentle)
✅Cleansing (solid scalp and hair cleansing regimen)
✅Crops (crops (vegetables), overall diet, ample water
Hair is constantly growing, but must be maintained to thrive. (Cleansing, grooming)
I have used these ingredients to help me achieve waist length hair. In addition, you must keep your hair in protective styles (twists, braids) for long periods of time. (3 - 4 weeks at a time etc) practice gratefulness, positive mindset, excellent diet, proper sleep, consistency, exercise, gentle detangling, no heat at all (my experience), daily oiling of hair ends , deep scalp massage, diy natural mild shampoos and deeply moisturizing diy conditioners, practice mindfulness and lower stress. The results are my own. All results vary. Hair does not grow long overnight. Average hair growth is 6 inches a year. I started my natural hair journey 10 years ago but had many setbacks as it took many years of research and trial and error to find methods/products that worked for me. Of the 10 years, it took me roughly 4 years to achieve waist length hair.
More insight: I’m a non-smoker and do not drink alcoholic beverages, nor do I take any medications.

I've been thinking if one can blend the aloe Vera with it's skin after getting the toxins out... would like to hear from you.well done sis!

Yes, you can blend aloe vera with its skin to use on your hair, but it's important to properly prepare it to ensure it's safe and beneficial. Aloe vera skin can have beneficial properties, but the plant also contains a latex layer, which is just beneath the skin and contains compounds that can be irritating or harmful. Here's how to safely prepare aloe vera with its skin for hair use: Select Fresh Aloe Vera Leaf: Choose a thick, juicy leaf from an aloe vera plant. Wash the Leaf: Rinse it under running water to remove any dirt or debris. Remove the Latex: Cut off the serrated edges of the leaf. When you cut into the leaf, you'll notice a yellowish substance; this is the latex. Let the leaf stand upright in a cup for a few minutes to allow this latex to drain out, as it can cause skin irritation. Blend the Leaf: Once the latex has drained, you can chop the leaf into smaller pieces, skin included, and blend it into a smooth paste. Ensure the blender is powerful enough to break down the skin. Strain (Optional): If you prefer a smoother consistency without any bits of skin, you can strain the mixture using a cheesecloth or fine strainer. Application: Apply the blended aloe to your hair and scalp as a mask. Leave it on for about 30 minutes before washing it out. Patch Test: As with any natural remedy, it's wise to do a patch test first to ensure you don't have an allergic reaction.

You can also cut the white part of the plant and stand the remaining plant in a bowl of water so the toxin drains out. Do you use it dail, every other day, 1 a week, wash it out?

What do you recommend for keeping non-damaged high porosity hair moisturized throughout the week? Usually I spritz my braids with water, add some leave-in, and then some oil on my mids to ends every other night but I don't know if I should do something else for my porosity instead. I tend to keep my hair in braids like you

Hi, how does your hair feel now with what you are currently doing? Would you say you know your hair type? What you’re doing sounds good, but how is your hair responding? Does it feel dry throughout the week or no? Thanks 🙏🏽 If your hair is type 4: LOC or LCO Method: After washing, apply a leave-in conditioner (L), then an oil (O) to seal in the moisture, and finish with a cream (C) to lock everything in. The LOC (Liquid, Oil, Cream) or LCO (Liquid, Cream, Oil) methods are effective for keeping 4C hair hydrated. Shea butter, coconut oil, or jojoba oil are good choices. Midweek Moisture Boost: Around midweek, re-moisturize your hair. This can be as simple as lightly spritzing your hair with water or a leave-in conditioner, followed by a sealant oil. (Sounds like you’re doing this) Protective Styling: Opt for protective styles that don’t require daily manipulation. Twists, braids, or buns can help retain moisture and reduce breakage. (Sounds like you’re doing this) Nighttime Care: Before bed, lightly spritz your hair with water or a leave-in conditioner, and seal with a light oil. Sleep with a satin or silk scarf/bonnet or on a satin pillowcase to reduce moisture loss. Avoid Heat: Minimize the use of heat styling tools as they can strip moisture from your hair. If you need to use them, always apply a heat protectant.

@@tialynn1111 Thank you so much for the in-depth response. My hair feels healthy and moisturized (sometimes dry), but my main issue is reducing breakage and shedding I suppose. I assumed that might be from lack of moisture, because I do wrap my hair with silk every night and avoid manipulation. I will try the loc method. After washing I usually just use a leave in or a cream, but I will see how combining those along with an oil helps. I might also try something similar to your aloe gel recipe to protect ends but with flaxseed instead for the time being. It seems like that could help a lot with length retention. I'm around 4a. I was also curious about how often you trim and how much you take off?

  • @tialynn1111

    @tialynn1111

    7 ай бұрын

Ok this sounds like a good plan! I do not trim often, and only trim as needed. At the most maybe twice a year if that. If I trim, it’ll only be about 1 cm at the most. Usually around 1/2 a cm or 1/4cm

@briannaburns1698 ok sorry to hear that, but I’m sure it will grow back soon. Do you think it’s caused by doing specific hairstyles? Also, you could try spraying lightly with water or aloe and applying avocado or hemp oils to the area to prevent further breakage. Try not to manipulate the area while it’s growing out.

I was using Aussie then Cream of Nature.. but eh...i dont know. So, I shouldn't combine water with oils? Do only water first then go in with the oil? I'll just be wearing twist or braid plats something easy on my crown area. Thank you for your time and for answering.

Hello, If you are not taking any medication that can affect hair growth, and if your diet, rest and wellness are wonderful, I would suggest using: Quality Rosemary water & pumpkin seed oil 3x a week Or Quality Rosemary essential oil & quality pumpkin seed oil 3x a week And massaging the area gently. Give the hairline a rest (no tension hairstyles for at least 3 months) And track your progress. Please conduct a patch test and make sure you are not allergic to any ingredients. Happy holidays💕
