What grows hair?
✅Commitment
✅Consistency
✅Care (being extremely gentle)
✅Cleansing (solid scalp and hair cleansing regimen)
✅Crops (crops (vegetables), overall diet, ample water
Hair is constantly growing, but must be maintained to thrive. (Cleansing, grooming)
I have used these ingredients to help me achieve waist length hair. In addition, you must keep your hair in protective styles (twists, braids) for long periods of time. (3 - 4 weeks at a time etc) practice gratefulness, positive mindset, excellent diet, proper sleep, consistency, exercise, gentle detangling, no heat at all (my experience), daily oiling of hair ends , deep scalp massage, diy natural mild shampoos and deeply moisturizing diy conditioners, practice mindfulness and lower stress. The results are my own. All results vary. Hair does not grow long overnight. Average hair growth is 6 inches a year. I started my natural hair journey 10 years ago but had many setbacks as it took many years of research and trial and error to find methods/products that worked for me. Of the 10 years, it took me roughly 4 years to achieve waist length hair.
More insight: I’m a non-smoker and do not drink alcoholic beverages, nor do I take any medications.

Will do, for now I’m keeping my hair in long term protective styles (braids) until I reach classic hair length. I wear lots of hats (straw in the summer and wool French berets in the winter) I wear baseball caps as well occasionally. I also keep a satin scarf on when wearing the hats to prevent hair breakage.💕

  • @tialynn1111

    6 ай бұрын

yes you can, 💕make sure to mix well to fully dissolve the Xanthan gum in the water soluble ingredients (aloe + flax) Also keep in mind that guar gum is more effective as a conditioning agent for hair, but xanthan gum certainly contains conditioning properties as well. Remember this mix will give your hair a soft to medium hold. Thank you

  • @tialynn1111

Hi Tamara You’re so sweet! No I don’t currently use any protein treatments. Occasionally I will do a Fenugreek mask (Fenugreek has a high protein content) However, I mostly stick w deep moisturizing masks such as avocado , Shea + aloe or aloe + avocado masks. I solely use DIY natural products and I found that this has what caused my hair to thrive and grow past waistlength (Along w protective style, being gentle, moisture routines and oiling)

Hi Margaret, Yes you can. I’ve been using this in my hair as a leave in. Keep in mind, since the product contains aloe, flax and Guar gum, it will give the hair a soft to medium hold. You can spray hair with a little water first then apply the gel, or apply the gel without water. I’ll use it in my braids sometimes for an extra moisture boost during this long term protective style. Also keep in mind that guar gum is more effective as a conditioning agent for hair, its main role in hair products is not as a conditioner but as a way to enhance the texture and consistency of the product.

I disagree with your statement that hair is dead. Our hair is alive Hair lives off of our blood supply and feeds our hair follicles, the hair pillar is alive n continues to produce hair growth to our hair follicles. If the hair pillar die then the hair dies. Our hair lets us know when things are not right with our environment. Our ears, eyes, nose, body etc has hair to guide us to communicate to others,to communicate with the spiritual world the cosmos. Our hair sends communication to our spirit guide. So our hair is not dead. We must step out of the world of repeating what was taught to the masses via books, and research on our own via asking your higher self questions n we receive the answers if we are open to receive the truth. Peace n love empress I do 💚 your KZread platform💚🌻

Thank you Valerie for your perspective- I am saying: The hair that you see above the scalp is indeed dead. Hair is made of a protein called keratin. The part of the hair inside the follicle, under the skin's surface, is still alive. However, once the hair grows out of the follicle, it is no longer alive.💕 The living part of the hair is the follicle itself and the hair root beneath the skin surface.💕

@@tialynn1111 yes I know what you are saying. I am a cosmetologist. The statement that hair is dead never sat right with me. Our hair gives us the ability to send n receive information to n from the higher realm. So the hair can not be dead. If the hair is dead why do we need to nourish some things that is dead?. Why do we need to be gentle with some thing that is dead? Why do we have to care for some thing that is dead. Peace n love empress 💚
