PAINT AND FINISH 13:07
What other private file designers do you recommend for cosplay helmets
its a race to see who gets doom installed on it while Printing doom guy
I was super curious about this printer, i would love to have it but the overall size of it makes it difficult to have in my room space. As soon as i have space i Will consider it. Just what about the smells leaking of the shield? I'm in an apartment with other 3 people, and i would like to not have them on my throat as soon as i start printing ahahah i know it's much of a deal on the side of the resin you use, but as far as i know ther are no "smell free" option, and having it into my bedroom makes it even more of a problem.
Had an anycubic Kobra go and this would make a nice upgrade 🤔
If you all don’t know, you can easily get 6k thermal labels from UPS completely free! I got a pack like 3 years ago and I’m still going through them lol I use them for my packing slips and also my shipping labels of course
Def finish it! It will look fantastic!
please paint no matter how long it takes
Gorilla glue 🥱
Great info just wish I saw it 4 hours ago before I started this 12 hour print :) Currently working on a 90% size F-35 helmet for my son and printing the main shell now out of black PLA to do a test fit but if it works I won't reprint it. This is gonna be a big project though with the X1C handling the larger items and my coming soon Anycubic Photon M7 handling the smaller bits, flexible parts like the oxygen mask and the clear front face shields. Tossed those into the Anycubic Photon Workshop and the fronts will just fit on the resin printer so I'll use some clear resin to print those. Got some hydrodip carbon fiber patterns coming as well to match the real helmet shell patterns. Gonna be epic when it's complete!
I admire your emotional regulation.

You need to paint it. It would look amazing!
Is there anyway we could get sergio calvo or squidmar to paint it?
THIS PRINTER HAVE KLIPPER ??
FINISH HIM!!! 🤣🤣🤣
How lightfast are they? I have a set that are meant for jewelry uv resin, and I've had issues with them fading rapidly in sunlight.
Paint it!! :D
the one thing i hate about this thing is where the USB is at they should have put it at the top of it where the monitor is.
I think you should get some fabric then glue some wire in a flowing position then cover it in resin then paint it.
I was using Mean Green. Bad bad. Went back to IPA, but now heard about this.
the question now is, are you going to paint Magneto?
why dont people explain calibrating for lower layer heights. seems everything is 0.05.
So you're not gonna put it together bro really???
Mine doesn’t still go the build plate it stick to the fep instead
Looks so cool, great job! I wish I had a 3D printer XD.
Do you think it would make sense to melt down the filament chips in a glass (Pyrex) cup first, then pouring the goop into a silicone mold? I really like this solution to 'recycling' filament scraps.
I use shaving quality single edge razor blades, new, and resin comes off easy-peasy. Chinesium blades have their place, but Drug Store blades work perfect.
I'm still using filament until I see that resin is the better deal
print a random amount of solid cubes @ 2x2x2 and see how many you get and that will give you a more accurate amount... ie 20 cubes per bottle
Can you do the same thing you would do with magnets and drill a little holes and put pegs in and then smear glue on and then slide the pigs use pegs to strengthen a seam
Please do the saturn 4 review soon 😭 Deciding which one to get and I like the color of the saturn 4 better
1:12:48 That thud sound! I actually felt that in my own head. 🤣
I’m here from 2024 and a single 2”x4”x8’ stud is $50.
This is amazing
u look like u huff sla thank u for showing me Uncle Jessy
Honestly I think I'm just gonna get a blender to better store the leftover filament until I can get a recycler setup going to make new spools
I have broken several pieces over the years so what I use is a lighter and quickly going over the inside edges and then quickly sticking them together while they're still warm and malleable
Should also try purple power.
you can use pvc tube for support the statue. you even can heat it
Can it play doom tho
The star destroyer isn't dry brushed, it's painted solid grayish white with certain panels darker gray
For the cape...what about using a real cloth cape and then overstarch the heck out of it so you can iron it and make it stiff so it looks like it's flowing
You already got this far, paint it!
10:00 Could you melt spots for massive magnets to hold the pieces together? That way it’s still removable in the future? 12:44 Yep XD. I do like the people’s comments about a wire mesh and fabric cape. What if you finish the front and keep the back under the cape unfinished? More as proof of saying yeah, this was 3D printed
bro said fox hammer
You need to finish and paint up
This is just too onesides. Makes it sound like this is the glory of printing with no competitors. The only orinter on the market. The bambu among the weeds. I would have liked to hear more about the downsides. What type of people isnt this for? What are the most important things missing? What key components or features does this have that others in the same price category dont? What cheaper options are there with similar print quality?
Hi, I am currently using this nice device and am considering getting a new one. To my dismay, I recently discovered that Elegoo no longer supports this device, meaning they no longer provide spare parts. This is really frustrating because, as a customer, we placed our trust in Elegoo's most expensive device and now we no longer have the option to replace defective parts. Now I'm thinking about switching to Anycubic. What do you think? I would prefer not to get the Jupiter SE from Elegoo to avoid another disappointment like this...
Finish it, you've come this far. cape would be fairly easy with thin gauge hex chicken wire from tractor supply, sandwhich it between two sheets of thick fabric, either super77 the edges or actually sew it. bend to a dynamic shape. My printer is way to small to even attempt a project of this size, id have to chunk mine like x5 smaller and that sounds like a nightmare.
