Hey Uncle Jessy! Awesome use of AR. ❤ An observation for you: the area you're thinking of putting this enormous printer around the 7:55 mark includes what looks like a vent in the wall. If it's an air return, all is well, but if it's a HVAC output that would change the environment temperature when it blows (warm in the winter and cool in the summer). The back-left corner of the printer would also be disproportionately affected, changing the temperature profile of the print volume in that corner more than elsewhere on the bed. I can't wait to see the real thing in action!

anycubic looks like it just silently dropped the wash and cure 3 plus. would love a breakdown on things they've improved and whether it's worth the additional cost vs the original wash and cure plus. especially on if they improved the impeller mechanism. those always seem to fail first

And I swear if they don't have a nozzle bigger than 0.4 mm for this behemoth pre-installed me and Uncle Jessy are going to riot.😂

Hi, this might be the wrong way to ask this but I have found no other way to find out so I thought I`d ask you here - will you have a review of the UltraPrinters that just hit kickstarter but have been announced about a month ago. I really want to pull the trigger this time as I desperatly want a 16" resin printer for specific projects - but first I need to know if this is even a real thing or ascam, then if it works as advertised and ideally if they have decent support.

And we are anticipating this years Black Friday deals, counting down to get a 4 plus.

I'm impressed with this appliance, but I still have three questions regarding it. Firstly, I'm curious about the target customer base for such a large appliance. Considering that most doors are likely too narrow to accommodate it, I'm wondering who would actually purchase it. Even in my modern house, which has extra wide doors for my wheelchair-bound wife, the appliance might still be too wide by just a few millimeters. Additionally, I have concerns about the assembly process. What if the printer proves to be difficult to assemble? Even if I manage to assemble it successfully, there's still the possibility of errors that could impact the printing process. Furthermore, the sheer size of the printer might pose a challenge when assembling it alone. The price is also a cause for concern. I sincerely hope that it isn't another cheap printer that turns out to be useless. All I want is the ability to print without having to spend hours on conversion work or invest a considerable amount of money upfront. Lastly, there's the matter of speed. Based on what I've observed so far, the prints I've seen have been relatively small. This raises doubts about whether the printer can truly match its claimed speed. If it takes as long as the Prusa XL, prints could potentially take weeks. While I understand that speed isn't the only factor to consider, it's essential to acknowledge that time is of the essence in today's fast-paced world.

Will it shake the house like my Elegoo 4 max does lol. Great printer but man it shakes I can't have the filament on the holder it shakes itself loose.

Oh boy I'm backer 192 with a delivery in May, that gives me 6 months to figure out where to put it! Its so much bigger than I thought!

Man oh man....after almost 60 days in this campaign, I've become concerned they've only had 3 updates and no videos of a partial or full volume completed prints, no close ups of layer lines. I'm getting cold feet with only 6 days left!

It won’t fit in the studio 😢 but I’m hoping to squeeze the Jupiter in here very soon😈 Such a cool printer though! Can’t wait to try FDM.

When I built my big printer (500x500) one of the things I checked is if it would fit through the door to the room it was in. The Elegoo definitely won't fit through a standard door, so you better like where you built it, or else you have to take it apart to get it back out.

I just cancelled my kickstarter preorder due to potential print quality issues. I figured I'll be better off waiting for reviews.

I would not put it near the door. Dogs and children might bet too close in a high traffic area.

Is this even a 3D printing channel? Obviously you should print a model of the Giga on an even bigger printer then carry it around looking for a spot. Obviously.

One thing I haven't heard is how much power that beast will use trying to do a 3ft print while keeping the bed(s) at temp 😱Gonna be a ton of these on ebay and facebook marketplace I bet as people just don't get how big it is. I REALLY want one to print guitar bodies in one piece but the wife said something about needing to eat for a couple months...pfffttt well worth starvation in my book!
