Wow its been awhile glad your back always valued your opinion
Pls do a Nike Romaleos 4 vs Tyr - l1 lifters
Coolest shoes ever
i like them, but they are bit narrow
They're good for squatting, no doubt, but I don't trust them at all for weightlifting. Very cheap material such as the rubber on the sole. I had Rom 3s and the rubber came off after like 3 months of weightlifting. Switched to Reebok legacy and damn that didn't disappoint me for 3 years. Purchased the Rom 4s cuz they were on sale and heavily discounted, same issue. The cheap material, the rubber came off after 2 months of use, and it isn't very stable either. The Legacy lifter on the other hand is 10x better. Problem with the new gen Roms is that they keep using the same cheap plastic. The Rom 2s weren't like this. They were sturdy and reliable and hence the best shoes for weightlifting ever.
I just done my Tough Mudder in them. Yes kept them for 4 years till i put them to test. They actually did well in obstacles and water out really good. However the distance was more than 10 miles, so not sure there was enough support/softness as these metcons are quite hard shoe. Now i have pain in left foot, not sure it’s because of the shoue or I bashed it during obstacle. The feet felt well protected though, lacing system was tight, so to sum them up - decent performance. Not sure why nike stopped making them

Ive worn the same pair for 5 years, no tears, no rips, no loose threads, no discoloration even when dried in the sun. Everything about the otb’s is tough. To reiterate, ive worn these every. Day. For 5 years straight. Best $100 I ever spent.
Unless u got an ass made at cyberdyne systems this seqt is much worse than the original, cant believe i got one after watching this guy who clearly as an ass that is impenetrable
They’re nice for people with narrow feet , if you have wide toes , less than optimal
They make them in wide too.
I hope people understand that the OTB is used for very short duration periods and for a very niche job. Finning to the beach and moving across til you can switch to a dry pair of combat boots. Caving vbss ladders. And cqb on goplats. Anything outside that is not what they are notorious for.
I can double kick flip in my Ariat boots, I powerlift in puma Motorsport shoes, you're trying really hard to suck at life the best.
Don't get sucked in to buying Altamas for the cool camo. They have a very specific function but aren't good for high miles, hard ground or cold temps. I bought them for my style of canoe tripping which doesn't involve much portaging but does require something with good traction on slippery rocks.
Careful if you need ankle support. The Altamas have extremely little due to the very flexible outsole. Good for feeling the surface but not good if you're prone to sprains or have previous injury. First day I wore them left me in serious pain for the following two.
how could Adidas make such an ugly shoe?
Looks like any hiking with any muddy hills involved would turn these things into a pair of roller skates..
Wrong
@@Munchboxkid I don't see these shallow treads holding up to any steep muddy hill for hiking. Wet hard surfaces I'm sure they do, but I wouldn't hike in my humid and wet area with these.
I just got a pair of these and the right shoe had a defect in the inside that would stab my foot. They are made in Cambodia...
are they true to size? Or run big like boots?
Ran big for me....
I'm a very picky shoe/boot guy and I'm a 8½ reg/med, I have the 8" med multicam and they are true to size for me. They fit like a sock yet durable.
Nice review. Would you recommend the Ballistic Trainer for rucking 3-5 miles on pavement?
You should wear the larger left coyote boot & smaller right black boot together.
If you’re on a tight budget for a dry bag.
Thank you! What size are the set bolt and seat bolt? The stock seat is subpar, although overall the Rogue Echo is an excellent built unit. The amount of discomfort is unacceptable. In addition, the electronics need to be backlit on the panel and upgraded with ie. Myzone integration etc.
The old shoes were so much better. Wider toe box, solid souls, lower heel to toe drop.
Instructions say "don't submerge", btw.
❤
Put this on my real bike and the metal part keeps hitting the crank arms 🤔
you can do it the other way around
What's the difference between urban, maritime assault??
lol
Dude... You're like a jr. high kid. I can't even start to believe your review.
Why would anyone use those? We're not doing water operations!?
I’m in need of a pair of shoes for doing my snatches in to get more squat depth and stability which one would you recommend?
How do you extend?
Great review man! 👍🏽👍🏽
I like much 🤌👌👍👍Plate laces from reebok nano
How do you un hook
Are they good for cutting grass n landscaping?
Nano x1 have a great laces ! Plate laces ! 🤌👍👍
Great boots but lol it is ALL TUH MUH
Does the soul mark?
Tactical Converse?
Alpha Chucks
Do they come with an extra insert? Im NOT going to heavy pack with these that's a use for other types of boots. I Will be using the maritime for all water related activities, civilian water shoes dont give any support, and they slip on wet slimy coble stone river bed. I think these will work well bush wacking with a kayak on short trails to water source, by design they appear to have the foot protection i like, looking foward to bang on these and see how they will perform. Thank you this was really close up review well.done.
This is the second review I've seen where the reviewer pulled out a "sandy" insole. Why sandy? Does this mean that the tongue of the shoe does not prevent entry of sand and grit into the shoe, which is the primary reason I've always used Teva sandals when stream/river wading -- to allow the sand, mud, and grit to easily flow out. If they have not done so, I would hope that Altama sews the tongue to prevent entry of sand etc. Believe me, its no fun when you're walking around with your wading shoes full of sand (and no, I don't want to wear socks or neoprene).
I do own cloud flow. Can this pair for running 5km to 10km runs outdoor?
Adipower is now 20 euros more expensive than Romaleos or Legacy Lifter. The decision is easy.
I ordered true to size just now but it’s different for everyone but I’ll come back here for my review thanks for the video mate 💯
I wear romaleos 2 and 3xd in us6.5 Do I have to 0.5 size up for the romaleos 4?

Hello. Adipower 3 are more stabilizing? Than adipower 2
Love mine, heads up from experience, I live in northern Canada and I am on the ice 7 months out of the year… they absolutely suck on ice!! You WILL slip and fall lol. Still, wouldn’t trade them for anything.
They're mainly made for water operations so yeah they can get wet easily at the trade off being that they can dry easily but yeah don't expect them to perform well in harsh terrain like snow and mud
great review and topic covered ... I am an eleven too. Do you suggest a 1/2 up on the flat Metcom versions?
Would you recommend this or the Echo bike for a cardio machine?
