Unfortunately, this #Nike React #Metcon #Turbo in Light Bone/Light Blue Fury/Black/University Red is too small for me - so it's going back. But before I drop it in the mail, let's take an up-close look at this gorgeous colorway.

just got mine today.. sized up as well ... took me out for a couple of workouts including run (3km), box jumps, and DU’s... felt awesome all round.. esp the run.. I am a mid-foot runner and these were as good as my run specie shoes.. definitely best Metcon to date all round stability - padding - running - jumps etc...

Nothing wrong with Converse for powerlifting or bodybuilding. I prefer squatting in Oly lifters (for the firmness, and drop) and deadlifting in somehting with minimal drop. These cross-trainers shine when it comes to all the other stuff you might do in CrossFit WOD, etc.

Does it have more cushion than the original metcon ?

Yes, but I like to say it's a "subtle" improvement. React foam is more "sophisticated" than the regular foam. It's still a cross-trainer - so there's not a ton of cushion regardless.

Yes, but they are cross-trainers and they have a low drop. They aren't going to feel like your average pair of running shoes.
