15 Miles with the GORUCK Rucker 3 - Review
I take the #GORUCK Rucker 3 for a 15 mile hike with 47 lbs in the wilderness. Do the new improvements work as advertised? Watch and find out.

Great review brother. May I ask how tall are you? I’m 5’10” 195lbs. Do you recommend that I get the 20l or wait for the 25l in December?

@@RoyalTz87 6' 2". I'm definitely getting the 25L in December. There's just not enough room in the 20L - and the hip belt is up too high on me. Even for these short "day hikes" 20L isn't enough. That said, it does sort of matter what you plan to do with it. I'm also doing GORUCK's SRT program (Sandbag and Ruck Training ) and the 20L works just fine for that - because it's mostly PT and really short rucking (400m, 100m, etc.) I do "long rucks" every 3-4 weeks which are basically 7-9 hours so I need the 25L for that.

@@fitatmidlife927 I’ll be doing most of my GR events with it. I’ve already ordered but I’m definitely getting the 25l in dec as well lol

Does the straps fit someone with narrow shoulders?
@fitatmidlife927

@@bergkampdutchmaster You can use the chest strap/ sternum strap to kind of "pull" the straps in. Whether or not it's going to fit is going to depend on how narrow we're talking, I guess. There is a "small frame" rucker 3 now too, but it's the same width as the regular.
Great video. Just saw you haven’t posted in a bit. Hope you are still stayin fit, my friend.
Just got mine and a 30lb plate for the holidays. Thanks for taking the time to review it.

Thanks for watching. These are fun (but time consuming) to make.
Is this the 20 or 25l?
Good review Tim and great nature shots! Like the sound of smoother inside straps etc, my original 26l Rucker is tough as hell but gets pretty abrasive at the 20 mile marker when its got some weight in it. Good that they include a sternum strap on this model. looking forward to yr next review, T

I’m looking for a edc/ bushcraft bag. I’m looking at the Rucker 25l. What are your thoughts about it as an edc bag?

I've carried an older Rucker 25 everyday for a couple years and I think it'll last for many more years ahead. Shoulder straps are stiff for the first couple months then they become awesome. For EDC and day hikes, layout is good for me. Just make sure it's the right size for you
Where is this hike? S.C.?
OMG You are a hunk. Great review but hard to focus on the bag.
Add a padded waste belt and its a nice pack
Does anybody know if the Titan fitness plates will fit it

They will. The 30 lb will not fit in the elevated pocket though.
