Great review! Thanks for the info .. but I love the GoRuck trainers I have the ballistic trainers in Lunar Rock and Black .. I will never buy a pair of Nikes again because they became too political so I started looking for alternatives .. the only other sneaker I would buy is the OnCloud’s which are pretty good too.

As a longtime rucker I have a pair of GoRuck ballistic trainers and 3 pair of MACV-1 Boots. I have to commend GoRuck on all their products. Everything lasts a long time. My first pair of MACV-1's last over 3000 miles of Rucking. I have documented them on Strava. In fact I still wear them when working around the house. Oh, and they are very comfortable. 5 stars!

Nice review. Would you recommend the Ballistic Trainer for rucking 3-5 miles on pavement?

I love my metcons. I find the MACV1 a bit wide in the heel. Are these more snug in the heel?

With the Metcon6 you can go 4mm drop or 12mm drop (with the hyperlift). With the GORUCK you are always at 8mm. GORUCK feels firmer though. Firm is good for lifting weights. It's a toss - up. Which one looks and fits better is gonna be the key decision.

Can you do Zumba Dancing in Metcon 6??
