What happens if the entire jam (Is set up) tease. In the key of C. Using every chord in Key of C (circle of fifths) but you NEVER end on C chord. Pause, end (A minor).
@LoGsounds3 сағат бұрын
So you're saying a circle progression in the key of C, but you never play C. What would you be playing instead of C, because if you're following a circle progression a C chord (1 chord) is part of that. If instead of playing C you play A minor (which I think is what you're saying), you as the lead player can still resolve and play C major as though it's happening, even though it's A minor. You would be playing C major on top of A minor, which is an extremely popular strategy that works very well because C and Am (or 1 and 6 of the key), are relative major and minor. Meaning the notes of the key function the same way more or less over both chords. The most obvious being they have the same pentatonic. Hope that makes sense, if I'm understanding your comment properly.

Awesome video. You're putting into words and teaching what I've been doing for a long time. I've always wondered even though I know it makes sense in certain situations why many guitarists would stretch way up there when the same note is nearby on the adjacent string. This method is also great for songwriting and piecing together solos because you're in a better position to move to the next area of neck as needed. Well done! Just curious, that high e string looks mighty close to the edge of the fretboard. Is it sometimes an issue?
@LoGsounds19 күн бұрын
Thanks for the comment! Yeah my high E string is pretty close to falling off. It's kind of annoying, but I'm dealing with it until I can get it resolved!
