On the Patreon I've embarked on a long journey of chord shapes through my series called Building Chords. This is a short thing that I put together using some ideas that I've accumulated along the way.

Oh man that was some special bunch of chords and notes. Thanks for sharing the way you see things on guitar it has completely blown me away on so many occasions.
when Eric Johnson writes a lullaby
Reminds me of Ted Greenes chord chemistry. Sounds superbe love it. A Mountain of respect for you man
Beautiful chords🙏🏽👍
Simply fantastic chord progression! The guitar timbre greatly enhanced the sound. I think that, wherever he is, Ted Greene must have been happy to hear that. Thanks for sharing.
Hope you get back to making longer videos as I’m not a fan of shorts. I love your approach to teaching and playing the guitar! Thanks for your instructions. If ai were a younger man , I definitely would take one on one lessons with you!
Beautiful stuff!
Lovely

Thanks for watching!
I don't know how you understand and navigate your guitar so well. I'm trying to learn your song Colors and it's like nothing I've ever played before. Just found your shorts recently I'm glad I have! awesome work dude, love it

That voicing for that final chord is also really great. Bb Maj, F Bb D Bb (so 5th in the bass), but that open D string adds so much resonance.

@@LoGsounds it's so great, there's so much color in those voicings without it getting muddy - just the right blend of full and clear. Love learning from these! ♥️

Hi. Are the tabs availible somewhere? Patreon?
Can you outline what is behind the tone of your axe?

Main tone is axe fx, I think the amp is a bludotone model on the clean channel, heavily eq'ed as well as a treble boost beforehand. Effects are light chorus/delay and heavier reverb from the Tim Henson neural DSP plug-in.
.... had a couple of flash backs of Ted Greene ... nice
I wanna see chord charts of all these voicing a so bad!!

Learn your intervals all over the neck and chords like this won’t be a problem. Other than technique that’s all there is to it
Reminds of Allan Holdsworth. But not as manic.
Clean. And some of those chords are not as clean ,as you make them sound
