This guy might just be the one and only patron I will ever subscribe to. So helpful for an intermediate player at a plateau like myself.

Thanks for watching. Unfortunately this video is from a Patreon exclusive series. If I started putting up these lessons on KZread, wouldn't really be fair for the people over at the Patreon. You're more than welcome to check it out if you'd like!
Is there a part 2 to this lesson?

There are 18 parts to this series so far, they are Patreon exclusive however.
Do you have an album on Bandcamp I can buy to support you? Plus I'd love to hear your original work.

Thanks for the comment and the interest. My group is called Galia Social, album is called Rise.
If anyone can answer this, If you play a C chord but leave out the first finger ( basic C chord for beginners) and only use the second and third fingers, would that make it an C 7??
@LoGsounds
Жыл бұрын
That would be a Cmaj7. C7 is a different chord, with the technical name being C dominant 7.

@@LoGsounds thank you
wait wait wait....i agree chord diagram books are highly useless, but what do you think about chord chemistry by ted greene?

Different things work for different people. But all I can say is if you know the fretboard, the chord sound you're going for, how to build that chord, and you enjoy experimenting, you can do whatever you want by yourself. I think it's very important to develop a method that gets you the sounds you want that does not rely on anyone else's help. Players like Ted Green are of course incredible, but just because they are incredible doesn't mean they will have the answers for every player.
Lol, what is this thumbnail?

It's me, as a baby, in the Carina nebula, chillin, building some chords. You should see some of the other thumbnails.
