    A handful of people suggested that I make short compilations, as youtube doesn't make it easy to simply watch shorts in the order they are meant to be watched. Hopefully you find this valuable, feel free to use the chapters to navigate and slow it down to .75 speed :)

    As someone who understands this video and isn’t really learning much new stuff but more of refreshing and being exposed to different ways of thought, this is the best video I’ve ever seen for explaining all of these concepts. The most important thing you did is showed their worth by demonstrating them in action and making us go “shit that’s cool, I gotta learn that”. I wish I found this 4 years ago when I started. So well done man.

    it's a shame I can only like this once. this video deserves an award. I've been playing for years, but just learned songs and always wondered "how" when it came to improv because I never knew what questions to ask. starting from theory 101 is so boring, so to find you breaking down some more complex parts of the puzzle so simply is absolute gold. thank you so much!

    Christian is hands down, bar none, the best guitar/music educator online. As an intermediate player that has been playing for years but always had weak theory / fretboard game, his Patreon has been worth absolutely every penny for filling in knowledge gaps. Its re-inspired me and has me finding ideas and sounds that were not available to my ear until i got this understanding. LOG is the 🐐 PS @LOG we want new Galia Social!

    why do you call the notes by number like 1 3 5 why not by its own name like A c# E.?

  • @LoGsounds

    @LoGsounds

    I describe it in part one of this video. When you move the standard bar chord around, the letters change depending on what the chord is, but the numbers do not. Because the numbers always stay consistently 1 5 1 3 5 1, keeps everything more consistent and easier to modify. Knowing the letters is of course also very important.
