We're Marianne and Chris, a middle aged couple from the UK. An Ordinary couple on an Extraordinary Adventure.
Currently attempting to Drive around the World in our old Fiat Ducato Van - Trudy.
Everyone reaches a point in life when you realise you're not going to live forever. After losing some friends & Marianne donating a kidney to save her friends life, that was the time for OUR realisation . Who's to say we will make it to retirement?!
In May 2018 we quit the 9-5, sold our belongings, rented our house, and moved into Trudy our van and we've been living life to the fullest ever since.
In Jan 2020 we set set off on the ultimate van life adventure, to drive all the way around the world. We travel full time, not to escape life, but so life does not escape us!
We hope our videos inspire you to step out of your comfort zone & live your best life.

Stop thinking about going to Ireland and do it! Great place to go and travel around, great people. We avoided anything that described itself as an “ experience” - full of tourists! I know we were/are tourists every year we go there but we prefer making our own experiences rather than doing something that is someone else’s idea of n experience. Sorry Cliffs of Moher experience, it was more of an experience in the nineties. Other than that lovely place, lovely people, great food and drink and music. Camp sites great in our opinion but be wary of wi fi if you need it on sites - it’s quite pitch on camp sites.
South Africa? That sets your goal back, doesnt it? Or do you intend to ship Trudy up the west coast back home. Anyway, it will be interesting to see S. Africa. Best of luck to you.
