Giving bribe is a crime. Since when a criminal is a hero? Well, maybe in the UK.😊

@@abdullahhanif312they are forced to pay to the policemen. Tough guy you are, imagine when you go to Thailand and similar happens to you. With no family and connection you will be left no choice. These two Brits are not bribing the police. It is very clear the police ask for the money. Salah tetap salah.
Brother!! You have done nothing wrong in Malaysia! Welcome back !!You both lovely friends ❤

You did something no one had ever successfully did before. Made that interaction viral and forces both the police and the government to act. That is why you are very popular and well liked by all here. No one will dare mess with you now 😉.

35:37 that’s not a police. That’s Ministry of Health response vehicle. Police vehicle in Malaysia are in Honda cars with white colour and blue light bar.

In Thai, we have a term to describe this type of behavior as a “pilot.”These officers are indeed men in uniform, but they often confuse foreign visitors due to their unfamiliarity with the country and the difficulty in distinguishing their role.
@kylek2623

These officers are like policemen but they only raid or inspect restaurants and foodstalls.😂
Woww.. Malaysia. So amazing. The road and the view. So clean. Will be in Malaysia in the future.. ✈️
Watching yr trips to anf from M'sia made me realize how beautiful, green and beautiful landscape Malaysia really is. After the dry landscape of Thailand, M'sia is breathtaking. Thank you.

Welcome back to MALAYSIA! yes it is just a small incident, it shouldnt't be the opinion left on the country! Malaysia people are nice, friendly and warm! u can anytime ask around for directions, food and shelter. once again, have fun in Malaysia!
The return trip back south was just as delightful to enjoy with as the journey up, and it is good be back in Malaysia with you as well. Your sentiments were just how I felt whenever I came to Malaysia, and I hope I can return.
Congrats on a successful crossing! Love your energy and enthusiasm and especially your willingness to express your love for Malaysia and its people in spite of a rough experience. Great example! Safe travels to India!!

Welcome back. At least you know that the rule of law is upheld in Malaysia. Bad actors exist in every country, but here, when caught, will be punished. Nice to see Trudy back here ❤

The fruit is called ciku in malaysia. We used to have a ciku tree behind my parents house.. when it is ripe, it should be soft and give sweet fruity fragrance. The taste is very nice

We usually keep it in the uncook rice to keep the unripe fruits from rotting. The uncook rice absorbs any moisture as the fruit ripens..preventing it from getting rotten

Fantastic and beautiful part of the world. My ex wife and I met at KL about five years ago, hired a car and had a fantastic time. Watching your videos has inspired me to travel again after Java and Sumatra last year. Later this year our target is Banda Neira one of the spice islands. We will meet up at Jakarta and make our way there, the journey is the best part. Then we will go to Puncak Pass as we did last year. Excellent and inspirational videos, travel well and enjoy.

Both of you are awesome couple..
the pods which were hanging from the trees as you drove past, were PETAI in the malay language. ( stinky beans in plain English) They are crunchy and can either be eaten raw ( once peeled off from the pod, one layer of skin to be peeled off amd the center soft bud, also to be removed). Otherwise,it is cookef with spicy prawn paste.
Lamut, really lovely, like a cross between an apple and a pear
Welcome back !!!!

Wow 8.5 hours of practically non stop driving plus only with one driver. I can imagine how tiring it can be. Can I ask you a question? Does your husband ever sleep and let you drive all by yourself without chatting? If my wife doesn’t talk to me while I am driving long journey, I easily fall asleep on the wheels. Two way communication is vital to keep me awake. Thanks.

If those beans hanging from the trees there are Tamarindo, they are also very popular in Mexican Dishes and here in the RGV part of Texas (as well as the Philippines. They do look like that type of bean, but we also have Mesquite beans here in Texas and people doing many interesting products with them too.
