Very well done Marianne. Tbh this was one of the most enjoyable of all your videos! I was at the same time loving the chaos, breathless, squeamish, heart in mouth, waiting to hear a bump, & loving it & wanting to join in the chaotic fun, but not in my own vehicle!! I drive for a living & having been to India 3 times (we absolutely love India) to various cities, part of me wants to join in the fun & drive but only in someone else's vehicle & certainly never in our own motorcaravan. It doesn't get any better outside of the cities, particularly at night where so many have no lights on & there are no street lights either. We've actually been in a minor head on collision in a taxi in Mumbai, a collision I could see was going to happen, almost like it was happening in slow motion, a collision I would have easily avoided had I been driving, but our taxi driver just carried on & drove straight into it. Nobody hurt, a few minutes shouting & we were on our way. Driving in India is just mad! So well done Marianne.

i just realized that Trudy is manual transmission?wow now i got new respect for Marianne driving manual in those kind of traffics. Good job
I loved this video. Better than a movie! Driving through this insane traffic and following an other car that wasn't always driving slowly is very very good. Well done Marianne. I admired the fact that you both stayed so calm, even when your mirrors were hit! Respect for both of you.
OMG! Well done Marianne - that was scary and I was just watching it!! What an experience! Keep safe and show those drivers how good you are 👍👍👍🤗🤗
Awesome video as always Chris and Marianne. This was a crazy night time drive with a whole lot of crazy traffic but Marianne is one cool driver even under pressure and Chris is one epic navigator even in the most crazy traffic. Chris could someone have broke y’all’s Sun roof hatch trying to get into Trudy? Thanks for letting us ride along with y’all on y’all’s journey around the world.
Well done. It's exhausting just watching you.
I was told by my driver in Delhi that they turn their lights off when its well lit to save power.... Well done on the drive too... Gold Medal!!
Bravo Marianne! What a team you two are, cheers to both of you.👏👏
I have nothing but admiration for you, Maryann. And your navigator. I hope this is not the kind of driving you'll have to do all across India. That chaos *has* to let up sometimes. Kudos again.

Marianne I believe had a calling to be a rally driver but chose instead to travel the world. Rammiz did a great job, but Marianne keeping behind him in that traffic was brilliant to watch. I think the key to driving in India is positive on the front foot driving which is sort of the opposite of driving in GB where cautious is the way to go even when there is little to be cautious about .
India can fix all. When you come across the right person.🙏
I don't think I could handle it there. I would need to find calm establishments to go into every so often to escape the madness as a pedestrian...and forget driving. I would not be down with that and I have driven in/around Boston for decades. F-that scene. Fun to watch tho. Pausing that too because it's a lot all at once. Well done Marianne!
Marianne I take my hat off to you that driving was amazing but scary well done

Marianne driving Trudy the manual thru Kolkata. Absolute legend !!!!! It’s another world there and you both are champions , im so glad I found you , you’re doing what I can only dream of . All the best for your Indian adventures
The drive was a great nail biting watch, but my favorite thing was the white truck parked on the left as you had stopped in traffic, I thought I was watching a magic act a small van with a ridiculous amount of people coming out of it, God it was packed beyond belief and some of the people coming out had big white full to the top plastic bags too it felt like I was watching a world record in progress .
THAT, was your best episode yet! Amazing. India is a fascinating place. Coming from a country myself with strict driving rules, this is insanity, but it somehow works. I Started following you both when you were in Canada. Shame you couldn’t get to Australia.
What a job of driving that was! You are a star. Good luck getting out of town.
The dash cam facing and filming the two of you as you drove through that madness was a good idea. It helped to assure that you were indeed okay and gave some relief from that madness. I would appreciate more footage from that perspective.
Kudos to you Marianne! All your world driving has prepared you for India! I learned to drive in Jakarta, which has stood me in good stead for crazy driving! Travel safe! 🥰
You are a super driver. My multinational former employer, here in Belgium, gave annual bonuses to the drivers in its fleet who had spent a whole year without a car bruise. I know that its counterparts in France and Germany do the same... and probably other countries worldwide. A few years ago the fleet manager was sent to a seminar in New Dehli where he met his Indian colleagues; they were greatly suprised to learn that the European offices offer theses good driving bonuses, as a full year of daily driving without at least a minor collision, not to mention bruises, was just unheard of in Dehli.
Amazing driving Marianne. So well done for how brave you are doing that! And well done to Chris for surviving sitting there with no control too! You are both so amazing! Good luck with rest of your travels🙏🏼😳🥰xx

Brilliant fix for the roof! On the fly DIY. I live in Mexico and I thought the traffic here was crazy but it holds nothing to what you’re experiencing there! Can’t wait to see India!
Marianne, bravo! You deserve a golden trophy for your driving expertise in India! I'm amazed! I admire you! 😍
You both did so well making that crossing through the city. I can't imagine what it would have been like if Remi hadn't broken the waters for you. I was trying to imaging having to navigate with maps through that - at night! No way. Glad you made it, and best to you for future drives :) Frankly, I don't know how Marianne doesn't have nightmares looking forward to doing that again, crazy stuff! About your vent, I saw that another couple had someone try to break into their van through the fan vent and broke it like that - it happened on a ship crossing too.
We have travelled extensively around India, you would never get me driving though! Well done!
I love how this video gives us a real feel for what it's like to drive there. Thank you and keep them coming!

Oh my word that was a nail biter to even watch on video. 😅 I don't think DH and I have ever called out watching and reacting to anything on you tube or tv as much as with this video. lol Marianne well done for those nerves of steel and Chris you were such a calming influence (well at least to me watching it) and being her extra pair of eyes on that side of Trudy. You guys rock! Thank goodness Ramize (sp?) was available to guide you back to the hotel. 💞
Marianne you deserve several medals for keeping your cool in that crazy traffic. What an experience though, and one I’m sure you’ll never forget.
Driving in India needs special skills !!! Looks crazy to foreigners but we rarely collide even within inches between us…. My friend from Italy once made a remark, if you can drive here ( it was Chandni Chowk in Delhi) you can dive anywhere !! 😁😁 Agree with her completely …. It’s the most challenging yet there’s a special way to signal the others around to let you pass….with that honking!! Reflexes of all are extremely sharp !! Not a dull moment ever when on the road. And one rule!! Never challenge a bus here .., the drivers are ruthless. This could be an endless discussion but keeping it short 😁😁 enjoy this speciality of India… don’t worry , just keep driving!!
Love how you work so well together in all you do, driving/navigating and fixing the roof, Great Teamwork!!
