    I'm not surprised at the helpful Korean... The half dozen times I went to Korea for business, I found the Korean people unfailingly friendly and helpful. The first time I went, I managed to get on the correct city bus, but had no idea where I would get off, and a native motioned to see the card with my hotel info on it, and motioned that they'd let me know when to exit. When my stop came up, multiple natives motioned that I should get off, and pointed to the hotel. This was not an isolated incident... :)

    Hope you spend at least 3 weeks there. I think one of the worst mistakes of any traveler visiting a new country is spending 2 weeks or less in that country. Within that short period of time, it's hard to do everything you want to do. If you manage to do everything you want to do, you'll just rush from destination to destination without really taking anything in. And you'll find new things you'll want to do or you'll make new friends that will want to show you things that aren't in tourist guides.

  • @yeonseonjeon6118

    @yeonseonjeon6118

    9 ай бұрын

    @@rxlxviiiWell, I see your point and think that Korea can offer so much that few weeks would not be enough, especially when it comes to food. However, it is also true that sometimes people simply cannot afford such long trips, there are many places to go see, and some places can be experienced fully in a relatively short period time (e.g. singapore, hongkong). Short trips cannot be the worst mistake...!

  • @rxlxviii

    @rxlxviii

    9 ай бұрын

    @@yeonseonjeon6118 Obviously, it will depend on one's financial ability but I think traveling anywhere you would need at least 3 weeks. Just to do all the sightseeing that one wants to due usually fills up a lot of time due to travel time to get to a particular spot and possible traffic during that travel time, and it's usually a cramped schedule and gives really no time to really experience the culture or make friends in the country you are visiting. Because of that cramped schedule so many people come back from a vacation traveling to a foreign schedule needing a vacation because of thier vacation.

    I lived in Korea for 6 years it is an amazing country. i took my driving test in korea. so a few tips, they have U-turn lanes, which depending on the sign in Korean you turn on red or green. Left turns are not permitted at intersections unless there is left turn light, even if it is a full green, you can't turn left until the green arrow. also in Korea you have to put your contact number in the windscreen so the police can call you to move if they have to. Enjoy Korea it is a beautiful country

I went home to get my car and drove in front of him to a bike shop, but they did not have the right spare parts. There are bad people everywhere in the world. But most Koreans are kind and cooperative. Especially historically, Koreans have been invaded and overcome by many countries. So they know the sadness better than anyone else, so they don't like to hurt others. This is really important. They basically have good hearts.
