I enjoyed my 6 months in Malaysia in 2006 - loved Malacca - lived at Cherating Beach near Kuantan in Pahang - visited Singapore also. Took a few days and went up to Kota Bharu - travelled to Penang. I had a great time the people were very friendly and I travelled by local bus most times. Enjoy Malaysia. Thank you for your vlogs.

loved that you guys are finally here in my country. Don't think I have to mention it, but when you go back to the direction of north, stopping by Ipoh, and Penang is definitely a must. BUT, the east coast has got some incredible beaches, waterfalls, mountain views. So choosing to stick to east, or west when going north will be a dilemma. Oh and you definitely need to stop by Cameron Highlands. And a quick tip on food here in Malaysia, almost every distinct state you can visit here has unique delicacies you can hunt for. Due to a multiracial society, we have a richer varieties. For example, Malacca has great pastries, satay celup, dim-sum, etc. I owned a Campervan myself, if you have any questions I'd be glad to be able to answer them. Safe travels & watch those calories!

I moved here from Canada in 2017. I will be buildi g my rig this summer in Canada. Many Overlander's don't use propane because of that issue. I am in that group. As for Malaysian driving. They will park their cars on a major highway and go for lunch. When my son came to visit, the first thing I told him regarding driving is forget everything you learned in Canada. If you read this before heading towards Thailand, take the first bridge you come to about 53 km South of Butterworth to get on to Penang Island. It's the longest bridge in Asia. Safe travels.

Amazed you managed to find it back to your hotel with all the alleys you got tempted down lol. In Japan, many (if not most) taxis use LPG, and there are many gas stations that serve LPG (more common in big cities where you can see many taxis). So, what you could have done in Japan (hopefully in Malaysia and other countries as well) is to contact taxi companies and ask for the list/location of the LPG gas stations. I have recently started watching your videos (your journey in Japan and Korea), and so I didn't know that you had a trouble with getting LPG in Japan until I saw the relevant video in November when you left Japan for Korea already. I'm sorry about it.

Korean American following your wonderful travels. It’s disgraceful that Mr Youn and his company aren’t not taking care of your Trudy. Hoping for a resolution…. and hope your memories of travels in Korea remain positive.

Korean-americans are quite different from Koreans though. Sorry but I generally have bad experiences with Koreans-koreans. Negative attitudes and service.

Pretty sure I saw that you have got that NFC-enabled Touch N Go card (it's the pinkish one). You can just top-up your card directly using your phone to your card then. no need to top it up at tool booth or petrol stations. but of course this is only possible if your mobile phones come with NFC feature
