Homemade Mayo recipe: In a bowl: 1 large egg+ 1yolk, 3/4 tsp dry mustard, 1/4 tsp paprika, 2 Tbsp lemon juice, 1 Tbsp white vinegar, 16 oz light EVOO, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper, 1/4 tsp garlic powder. Mix everything with a hand mixer or stick blender till desired thickness. Cover and Refrigerate. (Season how you like, this is what I do) If it separates in a few weeks, just stir back together! I mix all this in a mason jar and use a stick blender.

Girl! This is me right now. Just starting to change my life around. It’s a lot, thank you for sharing because it’s a little bit of a lonely experience because either it’s not common or no one talks about it OR people are so used to feeling the crap that they tune out that they are actually sick. Yesterday I felt the most mental clarity I’ve felt in YEARS. Keep sharing please 😘

I saw a natural doctor 40 years ago and I found out that my immune system was very low due to taking so many antibiotics, so he told no carbohydrates, no mayo, salad dressing, no sugars. He told to eat until full, but meats, vegetables, salads, no dairy,, some good fats. I lost weight, my face clear out of dark spots and I had so much energy. He gave me supplements to build my immune system, and gave me probiotics. I started keto system because it is so similar to the program i did 40 years ago because of the elimination of carbohydrates and sweets,. I have loss 2 dress sizes and I been doing a herbal cleanse, and been taking probiotics and I feeling so much healthier. I am 72 years old and I know that I will live a longer life because of this food program.. please do more videos on improving your health with food.

Wow! Great topic. I was suffering from all sorts of depression and anxiety and they just kept pumping me with pills ( which led to other health issues which led to more and more pills). I finally said "enough" and went to a naturopath. I had leaky gut and my gut microbiom was all sorts of out of wack. Once I started keto and then veered over to carnivore almost ALL problems were fixed. I can not believe the doctors don't talk about it or dont even know about it. My naturopath ( who used to be a licensed doctor in a hospital) told me that many studies say 90% of are serotonin is actually from our gut. Pretty amazing! Love your channel!!! @@reinatarango8515 Well at the time with my hypo thyroid issue I took Icelandic Sea Kelp regularly, Selenium in the form of Brazilian nuts, and a beef liver capsule. I also became very strict on NO sugar/carbs/fruit ( however was still eating plants and meat. So I am not sure if it was the combo, or what....I also cut out most dairy except buttermilk, hard parm cheese and goats cheese. So something I did worked for me there. The person I was listening to at that point was a man named DR. Berg on y tube.

Thank you for sharing. I have a very similar story and thats what put me on the same journey you're on, I'm still dairy free ish other than experimenting now with ghee. I have psoriasis since I was little and I've tried different diets and was vegetarian for a decade in my teens then I incorporated meat due to my husband being allergic to fish the, only protein I would consume, so I put chicken beef and Lamb back in. After having a child a decade later it all began with fatigue, hormonal swings (Rollercoasters) and deep acne which would come on like clockwork that it pushed my immune system to weaken and I battled with cold sores and psoriasis and fatigue which then lead to inflammation (which you don't notice because it comes on gradually) and stomach pains like clockwork every evening and inability to eat food or digest it. Fasting is the only time I felt better. Always felt like I was coming down with something but eventually it was the migraines that pushed me over the edge because I've never been prone to them unless something serious was going on. My brain fog and forgetfulness and lack of energy to even go and get food or visit my mom lead me to hit rock bottom. When a friend suggested cutting gluten dairy and sugar I literally just did it immediately and in 2 days I felt better. Now it's been over 2 months and I lost all the inflammation, my skin isn't erupting with hormonal acne and my hormones are more on track. I am making bone broth and I take bile salts and I'm working on healing the gut, liver and gallbladder, kidneys. I used to pee on myself including while asleep, I was sure I was just degrading like a person would at the end of their life. Please please please take care of yourselves, men, women even teens... and take care of your children too so they don't experience this health degradation in their youth! It's serious. Look up Insulin resistance, non alcoholic fatty liver (none of us drink) and yet everyone around me is also sick and fatigued. It's our diets.

YES! Please do a thyroid update video. I myself have hypothyroidism and Hashimoto's Disease (nearly 17 years now). I was listening to your symptoms and I said, "Oh! She has a thyroid issue?!", before you even mentioned your thyroid. Lol! You were basically mentioning all of my symptoms so I just knew. There are SO MANY autoimmune disorders that fall under the umbrella of Hashimoto's and usually go undiagnosed for years. It's not something Western medicine doctor's really treat or even care about. I could go on and on. I'm trying to get my gut health in order so these videos are very much appreciated. Thank you for sharing your journey and I'm looking forward to your follow up videos.

So glad to hear someone who understands! I’ve been on a gut healing journey for over a year now. Literally just found out the root issue after 8months of the struggle after finding an osteopath to work with. I’ve tired glutamine as well with bone broth. Please talk about what the process looked like for you, what you ate, how long it took to see changes etc etc❤️❤️❤️

I had my thyroid removed when I was 19. I'm 61, now, and have been pretty lucky over the years with keeping things in balance. My reccomendation to everyone is to find a doctor who listens and treats YOU and HOW YOU FEEL, instead of just continously stating that you're within the ideal range, number-wise. I now have a doc that understands that I function exponentially better when my tsh value is way down on the low end. If I get over 3, I pretty much just grind to a halt. Thanks for your candor about your journey, Myra!

Thank you for sharing this! I've had these symptoms since age 28 (now 54). Doctors would only check TSH which would be within normal limits, and say eat less move more. After being diagnosed pre diabetic at 32 I started making small dietary changes over time. Weight loss was slow but I finally lost 90 pounds. It took years. I felt better physically and emotionally. Now after a cancer scare, surgeries and menopause the symptoms have returned and the weight is creeping back. As most may experience, some doctors ignore our concerns and just dole out a prescription! . Your journey can help guide many of us who can hopefully learn how to discuss this with our providers to get the help we need.

OMG 😥😥 I have almost the same exact story. Yes, when I started experiencing the hair loss, the alarm went off big time. I knew it’s something on the inside. Went to dermatologist, but the solutions only helped with the outside. I have not seen a doctor, like you I’m self diagnosing, researching gut / digestive health and making some changes. I now cook more with bone broth, when making soups, following an anti inflammatory diet, switched to avocado oil, ghee, grass fed butter, meats, switch to maple syrup- and I love it. Eating and incorporating more real ingredients that my body recognizes and can digest. And of course your recipes are delicious!!!PLEASE keep posting these type of videos.

Mayra! Not sure if you’ll see my message or not. But this video and following you from years past, I have just realized has been a God-send. Let me explain. I have been dealing with debilitating symptoms since January of this year. No kidding. Haven’t been able to work or take care of my regular tasks and appointments either. It has been stemming from thyroid/adrenals/gut issues I have come to know painstakingly through my journey the last 5 or so months. I’ll spare the details… lol But I’ve been asking God to help me with wisdom & strength to be able to take care of myself and be healed. This morning so much has clicked with watching you talk about intermittent fasting, gut health and now the issues you have faced with your thyroid. I’ve known and tried so many thing along the years to “live healthier.” But stress was something that I couldn’t help but FEEL AND ACT on. 🙃 I know the Good Lord is teaching so many thing at this moment and one being to Let Go of Stress because it’s literally Killing me. He led me to watch more of your journey. Maybe because we are both Mexican woman around the same age and you’re from Pico and I’m from South Gate. Lol Kidding aside, I feel rejuvenated this morning and with a more solid plan on my own journey. Like yourself, I was already GF and DF and now working on cutting out those hidden inflammatory foods. I was already inadvertently semi-fasting but will be more intentional about that now. Thank you!! And A BIG YES to hear more about your Thyroid & Gut Recovery PLEASE. ♥️ 🥰🥰🥰🥰

MYRA !!! I am so thankful for you! Your recipes have helped me immensely ! I decided to go low carb after realizing i had a gluten intolerance. The last time i ate spagetti i barfed until it was completely out of my system. These episodes had been happening after spagetti, pizza, top ramen.. eww. It lasts four to six hours of just being so ill. Your recipes have helped me SO MUCH after realizing i needed gluten free. I was kind of lost on what to do but you have helped me sooooo much! Making food delicious and fun! So for that I am so thankful !

New to my health journey and new to your channel. Binge watching while doing laundry, 😂. Right now I am dealing with pretty bad blood test results & calcification in my arteries. Who knows what else I am sick with. This is just the beginning. My first step was going to a Nutritionist to help me figure out food. I wanted a diet very similar to what you are doing, GF, DF, Lean meat, no processed food, so finding you is such a blessing! Still in transition but I am slowly but surely getting there. Gracias Mujer! Besitos desde Colorado! 💖💖💖💖

Omg! I loved this video! So informative! I have hypothyroidism and I am facing similar things to what you mentioned. You’ve sold me. I’ll try my best to start making changes to my diet, sleep and stressors. It’s hard as a mom of 4 little ones and my husband works 2 jobs and I woke a part-time job. Trying to pay off our debts and buy a home since we live in an apartment only atm.

This is such a breath of relief to know there's hope. I'm totally changing habits little by little after, like you, all the symptoms just started screaming at me! Hair loss, DRY SKIN, and gut issues depressed me! All it took was my determination to fight back. You can do it!! Thank youuuuu for the inspiration!

By all means, share your Thyroid Story. I personally take 2-3 drops of liquid desiccant iodine, but for some reason have been so concentrated on cooking Keto bc everything takes so darn long that I had forgotten to take mine &, listen to this, I've noticed lots of hair loss, so thanks for the reminder, I'm getting right back to it. Just a note, your T3-T4 levels can be low normal (T3 is the actual iodine number with T4 being the precursor), anyway, if you are having symptoms there is still a problem. Taking synthetic is not always the answer, bc most times the Rx is either too much or too little, too much it's Tachycardia & panic attack time, too little & you're too sleepy, cold, & depressed to care. So if you go the desiccant route start with one drop & increase up to 3 drops as long as your heart rate stay normal, but more than that should warrant a trip to you physician, bc it is nothing to fool around with if it causes your heart ❤️ to beat really fast at rest & could be dangerous....be careful...

I have had a horrible gut issues since I went septic after 3 surgeries in a row.. what started me on healing my gut was raw goats milk.. only when I was drinking it did I find any relief. Now 2 years later and on keto I feel like I am on the right track.. My doctor offered no advice at all..

I went to my doctor with those symptoms back in 1998 and he did a thyroid test on me and said I just needed to back away from the table. 😱 I told him that if he saw me eat, he'd know that wasn't the problem. Fast forward to 2013, my chiropractor put me on a cleanse, but was gaining weight from the shake. Turns out I was gluten intolerant... then later found out I was lactose intolerant. He thought I might have Hashimoto's as those 2 things were part of the disease. He was right!! I still can't lose weight, despite eating healthy. I'd love to hear your story!!
