I always weigh myself first thin in the morning after going to the bathroom and naked. Otherwise you are weighing your clothes, food and water weight. I am only 5'3" tall and I lost 50 lbs in the last year. I am 1-lb from my goal weight. You are looking good!

@@carmella88 my goal weight is 125. I got down to116 10-years ago and looked like a skeleton in a bag. I didnt want that so I have been doing low carb keto with intermittent fasting to try to get atophagy to help with access skin. The big thing was to stop snacking at night. I was doing 18-hour fasts. took me a year.

@@sylviamarlar4206I'm 5'4" and was 130 lbs overweight. I've lost 60 lbs since September eating only whole foods (no processed foods at all, low fat (under 45g of fat per day) and making nearly all of those fats omega3s only (wild caught Alaskan salmon, walnuts, etc.), I eat my full fiber intake every day via a variety of low carb / high fiber fruits and veggies (sweet potatoes, green apples, beans, lentils, bananas, etc.), and I don't eat any grains, but I do protein shakes with unsweetened almond milk, chia seeds, and peanut butter powder to keep my protein up so I don't lose muscle. I limit my sugar and carbs intake. You can look up how much is recommended for your body size and age, and just try to eat below that so you don't eat in excess and cause your body to store it as fat. You want to burn all carbs, sugars, and fats immediately. That's why eating small meals and exercising afterwards is important. I exercise 15-30 mins a day, usually after a meal with more carbs. I try to eat very low carb (almost keto) all but one meal (usually lunch). You can do a high protein breakfast and dinner, and balanced lunch and snacks (fiber, protein, carb, omega3 fats). I also make sure to hydrate with water only and add raw sea salt to my water for electrolytes (so I don't get dehydrated). I also eat at least 3 cups of greens a day (either arugula and spinach salads or cruciferous vegetables). You can track your nutrients and macros through the Samsung Health app for free. Hope this helps and isn't too overwhelming. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask. 💕
I'm 6 feet tall too. I will be so happy when I reach the 180's! I have long ways to go, but I have lost 20 lbs so far this time on Keto.

Congratulations! You can do it. I’m 6ft tall too. I lost 20 lbs doing low carbs since January of this year. Down to 168. Gosh I have to say I feel so much better. My knees no longer hurt. I’m on the small bone size, so when I was close to 190lbs, my knees and joints hurt.

I went Vegan twice last year and I gained 32 pounds.. Oh my goodness I will never do that again I’m now moderate protein, moderate carbs and fats and I have lost 19lbs I’m a foodie too😂😂😂

Hey you can do vegan keto ! It's hard but worth it. Ngl I do occasionally eat animals (mostly sardines) and don't have an ethical problem with backyard eggs so when I can find those I eat them too. But it's doable. I eat lots of soy which isn't for everyone

That's how I had gained all my weight. I was vegan for 4 years. I felt good, but then in 2020, I got breast cancer and stopped eating processed vegan foods and so much sugar....ugh...I've been Ketovore/Carnivore since 7-1-23 and have lost 45 lbs. I feel amazing!!!

That is not true, age is not a factor, there are many women who are very fit well into their 60’s. I see them running all the time on the trails where I run. It all just depends on your genetics, not age.

@@Virgo_Victoria0830Genetics definitely plays a part there’s no question. But she’s totally right - end of the day it’s your diet. I have found 90% is in the kitchen and about 10% exercise and the like. Without getting your diet clean and fitting your output, all of the exercise won’t do any good for weight loss. Calories in vs Calories out. It really is that simple, and the formula will never be any different.
Congratulations Mayra! Woo hoo! 👏 I’m 6ft at 168 and almost a size 12. I’m at the in between sizes of 12 to 14. I will get there! I was a size 10 before I had my daughter 20 years ago. It’s such a revelation when you hit on the what works to lose weight and feel great. Low carbs, high protein works for me. No more processed junk food! I feel so good now! I’ve dropped 20 lbs since January of this year.
I used to weigh in the high 180s for many years and my highest weight was 210. Ive been maintaining at 160 for awhile and im 5"11 exercising every day for 30 minutes a day and eating right just proteins and healthy fats. I had to push myself to change my habits because no one around me in my past relationships was eating right or exercising. You should do live videos that would be cool 😎

I lost 35 lbs 2 years ago on Keto. I'm maintaining just being low carb. At the doc this weekI had gained 4lbs. I own it... It's been extremely hot here in OK and my activity has been way down. My numbers are still good so that's what I care most about. 👍

Congrats Myra. I think you’re just fine. As for oatmeal, I have trouble with this because it’s my favorite breakfast. But you’re right-it makes me tired and somewhat bloated which I dislike afterwards; it also made me gain some weight which I’m working to shed again. But I hate leaving it off the menu, and all the fiber definitely has benefits too.
