This was such a great piece. My whole family has always been musical, and often during large family get togethers some people play music while others dance and have fun. I remember my Grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary when they were trying to teach us kids all the various dance steps they used to do when they were younger: the Spear-chucker Shuffle, the Slope-eyed Slide, and the Fence-hopper Flap. Awesome memories!

The parallel between the Jews and the Kurds is not really that close, the Kurds do not have an independent homeland, but they do have a homeland of sorts. They're more like the Poles before the first world war or something, while there isn't really another people group in the situation that the jews were (except maybe the palestinians which is kind of ironic)
