If that's all it is, Schneider's bracket doesn't have a ton of followers to make it work We have a sea of comedians on this platform known as influencers. Explaining the joke is peak comedy, or it would seem so with all the reaction videos. Everybody wants in on the discussion Breaking things down that way can work, it would just seem to work best when you hold the clipboard as opposed to doing a bit. Schneider's career seems to have been being rolled up in the gig economy. It's not really his life's work, showing us the scope of humor. He's usually just the buffoon His bit is literally the Waterboy/Nicky character. He's the part of us that wants to blurt, but normally we wait for the idiot with no impulse control We're _probably_ all thinking the same thing, but nobody is that stupid to try the mob, except...

One of his recurring bits is telling a joke, it not getting a laugh or as much of a laugh as he wanted, then stopping the show to explain the joke to the audience in a patronising manner, scolding them for not getting the joke.

It's funny because he's criticized in this video for his "incredibly racist jokes" getting him fired from SNL and at the time of writing, he's hosting in a couple weeks. It's crazy for a company to publicly fire someone for being "too racist to work here" and then bring them back to run things a couple years later.
