The best moments on Collider was when John, Kristian, Mark and Jon Schnepp were on, and don't forget the great Ashley Mova, Sinead Devries or Natasha, they were absolutely great, I couldn't miss a day of Movie Talk back then. They lost everything. Love from Switzerland.

You know it's crazy. I was a dedicated watcher or collider movie talk. I even watched when it was AMC movie talk. It was on my daily watch schedule. I loved the Jedi council, movie trivia, heroes I loved all of them as well. I was dedicated. It's strange because as dedicated as I was I began to watch less and less to the point of where I am now having been behind in the news for so long. I've been watching John for quite some time and my movie talk show is just kind of dropped off of my radar for period of time with me being college and that kind of stuff it was hard to make time. But I've began making time again and I love the TJCS. While watching your show earlier today I came upon a thought which was whatever happened to collider I went to go check them out only to find out that they were gone. I know I'm very late to the table but I'm just a little blown away to be honest. And to find this particular video to help shed some light on it having been such a dedicated watcher I now feel like I have a better understanding of maybe why I stopped watching collider. Such a shame. To see it having ended like that with so many good people being tosses aside and then having us the viewers attacked by this Twitter dude. It's saddening and insulting. I appreciate you taking the time to talk about It I can feel your passion. Like u said though I'm over a year late to the news but still. Keep doing well John.

Why is there hate in this comment thread about Campea? AMC Movie Talk was created by John Campea. The big wigs at Collidor did ridiculous choices that was the opposite of what Movie Talk was about- I assume it was to stab Campea for quitting with the changes that ended up running the views of that channel to the ground. (At the same time- Collidor big wigs rich douchebags seem like they wanted it to fail; in the same way NBC wanted Howard Stern to fail for being actually fun and entertaining) Meanwhile, coming to the comments to say “snowflakey” things to a video that had nothing to do with Disney Machine says a lot about the negativity you are putting out cuz of how you are hurt for his views of his opinions as a movie critic several videos ago on Star Wars Rise of Skywalker. Campea’s rant about the firing of great and entertaining crew on Collidor is very valid. And it shows what the behind the scenes of that channel was garbage cuz the rich guys are thinking they are right and the Crew they fired are not. It’s going to fail if you don’t listen to the fanbase and give the Collidor crew what they needed to succeed- not give them crappy rooms with crappy mics and say it’s cuz of them who created its downfall....

You have always been diplomatic and never negative when you were asked or talked about Collider after you left, so to hear the passion on how you feel (& felt) about what the #2 guy at Collider said after all those entertaining shows from Collider were cancelled (which included all those extremely talented people [too many to name or my comment would be another paragraph] losing their jobs) needed to be said and expressed. Everything you said and how you said it (with the emotion) was on point! Well said!!!

God bless you, sir, for standing up for the incredible minds and talents and hard work that built what was once an incredible channel and community! I know I'm late to the party on this and just finding out the news about these cancellations today, entirely because the direction of content, tone, and even some of the on air talent at Collider had driven me away to basically only still listening to the Heroes podcast (because I didn't want watching the show on here to fill my feed up with any of the other videos the channel was putting out). And even that (for all Amy and Coy and John's noble efforts to carry the torch for the fallen but never forgotten Brother Schnepp) i barely listened to after a while. On a whim, I tried to find out if it was coming back at some point or if it had been cancelled, and what scant information I could find led me to your prior video, which was not surprising but still disappointing news to hear about the demise of something that had for years been an essential part of my day, from Movie Talk and Heroes to Jedi Council and the Schmoedown. And it made sense, I suppose, for the direction they wanted to take things in (though I could only imagine if I felt the need to stop watching they must have been hemorrhaging other viewers and fans as well, so maybe they should have been questioning their direction more than the content that built that house), so I thought your initial response was very fair. Then the preview for THIS video popped up, and I saw the title, and I had to know what had been said. Wow. I cannot fathom the gall, the temerity, the black bile that must course through someone's veins to prompt comments like Hind's. Especially when people have lost their jobs, especially when the foundation of the fans and talent and community had just been undermined, especially to Ken Napzok who by every account I've heard from friends in the industry is the sweetest teddy bear of a man. With that kind of jackassery in the number 2 spot (perhaps that explains why he's such a piece of shit?), it's no wonder so many of us felt driven away. I can't even imagine still sticking around and having THAT thrown in my face. You nailed it on the head. That site and channel just cratered into the ground, and the downward trajectory was set long before they cancelled the only things that were still worth a damn over there. I know you'd chosen a gentleman's path for years and never said a thing, and I always respected that (no matter how curious I was!), but I'm so grateful you spoke up for what the channel once was, what you and so many others built, for the people who had been sidelined and curbed and subsequently disrespected. You're good people, John Campea. Thank you for creating something so many of us loved for so long, and I'm so sorry that others didn't know how to preserve it and best build upon it. But I'll always be grateful for those times long gone!

As enjoying as that entire rant was the reality of what once was my favorite channel on youtube being no more has really hit me hard and i find myself deeply saddened by this. I can remember a time when i couldn't wait for new daily content to come out. So many great memories from some truly outstanding and talented on air personalities. I saw it coming as one by one all my favorites started leaving but it doesn't lesson the blow any

Collider was great cz of Campea, Shnepp, Ellis, Harloff & Zeng... Movie talks was one of my fav shows and i just realised haven't returned back to collider since Campea's departure. I just unsubscribed too 😬... This was one of the best videos of 2020. What a great Rant to start off the year... Way to go John... 👍👍👍👍
