+Ryumoau Heh, I guarantee you would hold your tongue if you were facing him, and if you chose not to, most likely it would be a really poor choice, on your part. I trained and sparred with Jahns during college. I definitely wouldn't take his very animated free spiritedness for weakness.

To be honest, I mostly watch Collider when John, Marc, Kristain, and Schnepp are on together. These four human beings have the best social chemistry ever. When any one of them is missing... there is this odd vibe that something great is not there.... I may be the only one that feels this way :P

+Jeramy Gonzales I agree...all four is the best, but that's actually pretty rare. It's usually some combination with Campea always being the constant and two of the remaining three. But as long as Campea is there, any combination of the other three is awesome. This bums me out...I love the rest of the crew but Campea has always been the glue that holds it together. He can be long-winded and annoying, but he made the channel what it is.

Don't unsubscribe cause John's leaving. He is a smart guy & we all love hearing his opinions on movies, but he aint no God. As much as I love John, there were moments where I disagreed with him too. I'm going to miss him terribly. But the Collider channel is being carried by Dennis who works just as hard as John, only difference is John brags about it. & the Schmoes who have a huge fanbase and are funny together. Schnepp who is King of the Sweaties. And Ashley, Natasha, & from what I hear Sinead is coming back, they are all still here.

Going down memory lanes lately.. before Collider/AMC I've been watching all the old Movie Fights with Screen Junkies. This was definitely the best era of nerdom and debate and excitement. These platforms MADE studios BILLIONs

Honestly Campea is better off doing his own thing at this point imo, he's better at just giving his own opinions than managing a big team and the hectic schedule may have become too much. I feel like collider has found an identity that doesn't include him and will be better off in the long run without him.

Campea has always come off as pompous to me, but I never doubted his passion for what he does. That guy will be very successful in anything that he does, but that being said, best of luck John!

I only discovered John eight months ago from discovering Jedi Council. So unfortunately I missed a lot of this long run. But I will say in the short time that I watched Movie Talk and Jedi Council, John's impeccable insight, intuition, honesty, talent and leadership was certainly noticeable. He's definitely a voice of experience and passion for this industry - and I admire the fuck out of that. Good luck to John! I hope the next mountain he climbs lets the world discover something special like I had.

While I couldn’t be more excited about Kristian and John’s new team up, I sure do miss the glory days of collider. Ellis, Schnepp, Jahns, Harloff, Griffin, De Vries, Mova, Martinez... that sure was a hell of a team. I would give anything for the avengers to assemble once again.

John you were the greatest talent in a show packed with talent. I will continue to watch, as I love the house you built, but I will sorely miss your own personal commentary.

May the very best of luck accompany you along whatever path you intend to follow, John. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching you over the last few years - not only has it been fun, it has been an education also. I started watching Collider Movie talk about a year ago. I've always been interested in movies, but watching this show made me care much more than I ever had before, and a lot of that is thanks to John Campea. Movie talk has by now become part of my daily routine and it's increased my enjoyment of film and film news so much. While I'm of course sad to see you go, I'm happy that you're doing so to go and pursue other projects, and I'll await what you do in the future eagerly. Good luck with everything! :)

You increased my passion and knowledge for film that started after I wanted to see what people said about the masterpiece known as MOS. I came across AMC movie talk and started watching religiously which increased my passion, knowledge, and appreciation of film. Unreal. Last year I was crushed when he made that announcement leaving AMC. But then he was able to keep the band together and move everyone to Collider. AWESOME! I was thrilled! But now this bombshell. Once again Im crushed. Now I LOVE the entire Collider crew and the shows they make. I haven't missed a Movie Talk, Mail bag, HEROES, Jedi Council and a few of the Recap shows since I 1st began watching "For Your Consideration". Everyday I'm usually one of the 1st ones too watch the Live Stream thru my PS3 when it begins. When a show gets delayed, Im constantly refreshing because I NEED IT NOW, lol. I may be alone on this, and that's fine. You John, you are the one who MAKES IT SPECIAL! Its hard to describe, so I say special because its YOUR reactions, YOUR Energy & Passion that DRIVES it. You MAKE EVERYONE AROUND YOU THAT MUCH BETTER! And w/o you their, the shows are still great, but missing that something special. You Sir are our and Collider's Michael Jordan! Please get the rights (is that how it works?) for Movie Talk and do it right. You ran that panel like a well oiled machine. The show has a lack of vision since you left. They even got rid of our favorite presenters. It’s sad because Movie Talk is what really deepened my excitement and love for cinema. But Collider video seems to be having a bit of an identity crisis. Not knocking Mark Fernandez, they just look like they’re losing the momentum the AMC-Collider move had going. You seem to be a divisive guy (see: this comment section) but for whatever reason I like to hear you talk film.

Yeah, I didn't agree with most of John's points but he put together a group of differently-opinionated people. That's why I kept watching. I realised how important he was once he left.

the only problem with Dennis is that he is not very charismatic... never jokes, never smiles, etc... think this is a big limitation with high interation level like this show...

I know how you feel. I'm an attorney and just left a job with a group of people I loved but felt I needed a new challenge. I haven't had time to watch you guys for the last month or so but I've been a fan for a long time. I wish you well on your future endeavors.
