    This meal plan was developed in the early 1990's and was debunked then and keeps being debunked every time it resurfaces. But, I am a 66 year-old Type O rh negative male of Scandinavian decent who swears by it. I never feel well when consuming grains, dairy products, and most fruits but give me meat protein, cruciferous vegetable's, and northern berries and I feel great. I let this diet slide for several years and enjoyed pizza and orange juice among other like foods and developed type-2 diabetes. Going back on the high protein diet and I'm very happy to say I am showing no sign of diabetes anymore. 😊👍🥦🍄 🐟🐔🐷🐮

    In addition to my previous post, I have mast cell activation disorder which is activated by a trigger called sulphites (sulfites in US) and of which I have a high intolerance to histamine released by my mast cells causing anaphylactic responses. I have detoxed all sulphites from my body but one of these chemical triggers continues to cause me problem. This is Sulphur Dioxide gas, otherwise known as SO2, which is one of the 6 defined sulphites that cause me pain. SO2 is a byproduct of burning diesel fuel and is oddly used as a preservative in the production of dehydrated products such as banana chips, apple chips, etc. Simply following a diesel burning vehicle can pose a problem for me. Thought you should have this information when making your own decisions regarding nutrition health programs.

    Thanks for sharing! My husband is Type A, but he eats a like like a Type O. He dislikes most vegetables and adores red meat. He's very muscular, works out regularly and feels amazing on a meat & egg rich lifestyle. I would love to hear thoughts on this. What do you think? Should he still force the Type A diet, just in case it benefits him? Hmm..

    @@juliabliss1477 Hi Julia, The following is my opinion only as I’m not a health professional. With that said, I am a 66 y.o. Icelandic male, still very muscular naturally, and who weight trained for a hobby as a semi-pro weight lifter in an earlier life. So I think I understand your husband at least a little bit. As I’m sure you know Type ‘A’s should avoid red meat and lean closer to being vegetarian. But that diet does not support weight training and muscle building (Your Hubbies hobby). For that you need animal based proteins especially red meats. Also, your body generates adrenaline when weight training so he gets a bit of a high during and afterwards which can be addictive. I know this from my own past experience. I do not believe he is harming himself but would recommend shifting some meals to say chilli like entrees. Use lean ground beef (animal protein), lots of legumes/beans (plant protein), spinach (iron), tomatoes, and broccoli. Broccoli is an amazing vegetable. Google: What nutrients are in broccoli?     Tilapia, perch, and mackerel have the lowest levels of mercury so eat up and enjoy. I hope you like fish tacos they're the best, fried whole of pieces of tilapia, fish curry good stuff, baked tilapia with veggies. You have some good options. I forget a fish burger too. Really good there
