So right! I used to play basketball and I did very, very light single leg squats and jumping power went through the roof! Did not need to lift heavy, it was detrimental to my blood type which is A positive. I switched up to very light and was jumping so much higher.

This is legit! was vegetarian for like 5 years it almost killed me and I couldn't do high intensity ever. I found out I was OPositive and man went back to eating meat, no rice, potatoes, or gluten, and tested it and was dead lifting 100lbs in 3 weeks! All the vegan protein sources are our avoid foods go fig, no wonder I was weak and couldn't do anything.

A+ . Veg for decades and vegan for 12 yrs. 66yrs and start my day with 100 push-ups before several other workouts. Always been super athletic - not into “ calming “ exercises 🤦‍♀️Same lean muscle weight and I plan to keep it that way! Surfed competitively in college and worked as a flight instructor in Alaska- love my adrenaline rush!

I'm type O but I thrive on salad and fruit, fish and small amounts of rice/potato. I've never ever in my life wanted to eat or enjoyed red meat. For exercise I enjoy weightlifting, hiit and pilates. So both intense and calm. I don't fit into my blood type recommendations?!

Do U know how it is determined that a food is highly beneficial as opposed to neutral? I find this info nowhere!

  • @ebrelsford

Hey there! If you are really interested in this information, you can find it in the book Eat Right for your Type by Dr. Peter A'Damo. It goes more in depth with the way foods react to our blood cells. I have been on the blood type diet for a while and have benefited greatly with it. I'm sure if you google the book title you can find the section in the book that talks about this. The book isn't expensive, and it has a lot of useful information. Good luck!

Rodney Payne a neutral food is a food that won't harm you. However, it's just considered for its nutritional values and so the interesting nutrients that you might get from it. A beneficial food on the other hand isn't just a nutritional pack, but also a component that addresses your genetic profile particularly. Exemple some food might provide a specific protection against infections , diseases or cancers that your blood type is typically at risk for. Other foods might provide support for your stress profile, example type As superfoods may help to reduce cortisol levels, which is one of their issues or helping the immune system to spot A-like cancer cells. There are as many reasons as there're beneficial foods though.
