I love the blood type diet and I will argue anyone about it. It works for me and I feel GREAT! I even talked to my fitness friend into eating for his and he tried it for a few days and love it. He says he also felt great and the food was soo good to his body.

What is your blood type? I'm type O and the Keto diet works great for me, but I think that's mainly because type O's don't tolerate grains, dairy, corn or sugar. All of that is a no no on Keto as well. I do miss sweet potatoes, though 😩

@@amyk6028 i just read a list of neutral foods and sweet potatoes are on there. just no white potatoes! Just limit the neutral food. don’t eat sweet potatoes every day. At least that’s what I read under the type 0 list. I’m also type 0 negative and am looking forward to trying this lifestyle

Hi Dr. mark I follow the blood type diet for type NS o. ( strict paleo, very little rice, and avoid some foods that are neutral. I love how you put it. We are our best doctor. It is like after my body stopped being numb from the lectin proteins my body could feel the other allergens. I feel much better. I have lost 33 lbs and the best part is not the weight loss. My skin looks better, no Brain fog, food crashes and GI issues are gone. Process sugar is what causes my SIBO and candida to come back. I like how you said you look at genetics as well. And do a more personalized diet. So cool your research is helping others. If I could afford a dr like you I would. Dr. D’Adamo books still got me where I am at now. Thank you for your insight

Hi I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask questions but here goes anyways: Is sugar inherently bad? Obviously it's bad if you eat too much of it and it can cause diabetes and what not. However, for people like me, I have a healthy bmi and a low body fat percentage in fact. I play sports so that's exercise covered and I don't get fat easly anyways. Is sugar still bad for me? As far as I know it's still a natural product and it should be fine in moderation or do you recommend swearing it off anyways?

  • @andseraf8544

Souli Simple way to think of it , your body has to produce insulin to get rid of the sugar from your body , when you can no longer produce it , you need shots .. hmmm Things either give you life or take it ...

Refined or processed sugar is processed pretty different by the body. It is said that when you take it in, your immune system gets stunned and sort of stops for up to an hour before resuming full function... that would mean that taking a spoon full each hour would in effect greatly lower your resistance to illness. So that is one point I consider, if i do eat sugar I pick a time to know I will be dropping the shields and enjoy and relax.... But then again if you are someone like a runner and eat a candy bar before a run, it would likely be converted to quick energy right away and burn up.... Things like Cancer or Candida Yeast... they will feed on sugar and increase your cravings for it... and most of any you eat will go directly to feeding them. In cases like that, sugar must be cut off to regain your control of your health. So there you have my view, nothing really profitable to the body by eating it, except quick energy... but many things can do the same and at better quality for health, like say Real Honey.... but now we have to be very careful when buying that, many are highly diluted with sugars, especially the worst one, High Fructose Corn Syrup... certainly avoid that one. But if you are near a bee farm and can buy direct, or live near a reputable healthfood store, then Honey is a great option. Otherwise try to use natural sweetener, like bananas for adding to a cake, Or coconut sugar made from coconut tree flower nectar. Or use brown sugar instead of refined and bleached.... Bottom line, less or zero sugar is nothing but good for your health and immune system, in good health you can cheat a little, but is better to seek alternatives instead and stay stronger as you grow older... also stevia is another alternative, but never use things like aspartame.

I find that an animal-based diet with the focus off beef or ruminant animals being superior in nutrition. From there, tweak whatever it is you like and do best with. For some, the carnivore diet might be the best route. Others, meats, fruits/juices, veggies, and little bit of grains might work well.

B+ here. Generally avoid chicken at all cost. It is the worst. Next comes corn, tomatoes and buckwheat. Try to limit wheat consumption. Many Bs are said to have problems with wheat. Eat lamb, mutton, eggs, fermented dairy, lots of greens and cruciferous veggies. As for carbs oats and spelt is the best.

Before criticizing the blood type diet, you should at least read the book, and then possibly try it for yourself, because it goes beyond glib claims of "personalized nutrition". The scientific explanation of why it works for so many people has to do with the selective reaction between lectins (proteins in various foods) and the blood type, depending on the specific food and the specific blood type. I usually admire Dr. Hyman for his efforts and messages, but he failed us in his review of the blood type diet.

Ben Rockefeller agreed! I have lost over 65lbs when I began the blood type diet and stayed strict to it. My annual checkup has been night and day since I’ve started the Blood type diet in a positive way. The thing I find when talking to people about the diet is that they actually cheat on it by continuing to eat things that are specifically prohibited within the Blood type diet and then wonder why it’s not working for them. If it says no dairy then that includes the slice of cheese on your burger.

Then she was like what is going on?! Because her husband was losing weight. She checked her blood type. Realized she was A. Followed the A blood type. No meat. Beans, lentils, rice, soy, oatmeal and eggs 2 times a week to name a few. And she lost all her weight without working out. She got her thyroid checked and it was normal levels and no longer needs medication from a dr.

Dr. D’Adamo actually does it to if you go see him in person. He is just amazing that he shared it with the world for a low cost. With this doctor he would cost like $500 like any dr who is Naturopathic. If everyone knew about the blood type diet everyone would be out of business. That is why a lot of other drs Try to disprove it

I've introduced my daughter to some of the recipes and she comes back for seconds as it's so tasty.. I advocate fasting as I routinely do this at the weekend and I feel so much better even after this short time.... why? because in addition tonall this change..I have reduced my sugar intake to practically nothing..even discovering the hidden sugars by eating real food.....I do feel a pinch for crisps or chocolate....but I don't even give it a second thought.. I eat far less...feel fuller for longer and don't snack.. so food bill balances out.. ppl should ditch the fake foods and try it.. it's hard sometimes..but meals are easy to make and tasty.. esp chicken curry...full of spices ..I even put coconut oil in my coffee...and I hate coffee..
