I like the raw powdered eggs for baking. If you do the glasses sponsor thing again, make sure not to push the glasses back up your nose so often. It made it obvious that they’re not a good fit, which is a bummer because they’re adorable on you.

Just on the subject of Chayote, Maangchi has a recipe for Chayote Kimchi I would 5000000% recommend you try it because its sensational, I actually prefer it to regular kimchi.

I don't add soy sauce. Instead I add a little bit of sesame oil and mustard then I put the egg on it. Sometimes raw but I usually cook it slightly before I add it. I think the raw egg texture is a little much with the beans already.

Hey Emmy! Been watching your videos for years so yesterday when I looked up a recipe for dandelion wine your video was the one I had to choose. I woke up this morning to my partner yelling "the wine is bubbling on to the floor!!" We left an inch and a half at the top as recommended. But it was coming out of the frementation lock on to the floor everyyyyywhere. Then I remembered you left your lid on slightly ajar until you got your frementation lock in the mail! LOL I couldnt even be mad at 6 this morning I just laughed and wished the ants in my floorboards a good meal. Hopefully the wine turns out good!...I do hope you see this comment I wondered if you tried the wine after a longer time to frement? Maybe its still in your collection lol?.....was it better or worse? I hope you are well. ❤- 🇨🇦

I love being reminded that there are fruits and veggies and cultures that while not familiar to me are very familiar to others! It makes me so happy to remember that the world is so big and I only experience a slice of it! Thank you Emmy!

Me and 3 of my friends tried the Chamoy Pickle with Takis, Strawberry Gushers, the Lucas watermelon Skwinkles Salsagheti, Lucas chili powder, Lucas Chamoy Sauce, Tajin, and wrapped them with fruit by the foot (strawberry and berry). We had 2 pickles, so we cut them in half long ways and gutted them to make boats 😂 I was the only one that genuinely enjoyed it! The other 3 took one bite and hated it 😢

I love how experimental you are! And I love how you're connected to the environment I noticed though that you didn't mention how animals like possum and other rodents can come with pretty intense parasites How did you check for that? Did the cookbooks cover it?

A couple of observations: 1. This reminds me of some chemistry channels where you mix this with that and you get something unexpected. 2. If I was mixing it I would probably end up with about 1/2 of it left after I had finished taste-testing it with a spoon. A fun project. Thanks. Cheers :-)

I love chayote! My fav way of preparing it is to cut them in half, season with salt and pepper, stuff them with shredded ham and white melty cheese them bake them. Soooo yummy! 🤤
