I just read this and was curious as to why I rarely get notifications for Emmys channel anymore… I’ve been Unsubscribed! If this is happening to others, it’s no wonder why some creators are struggling to reach certain benchmarks or feel they are plateauing. Emmy probably isn’t but many have expressed concern. KZread must be fiddling with their algorithm again. I also notice that it’s getting harder to “Like” content, even when you’re still subscribed. It moves too fast into the next thing on the feed or the ending commercials, even before you have a chance to cancel it. I don’t have “auto play” enabled, and I don’t have KZread Premium.
i think she’s one of those youtuber/vlogger who has zero haters. i love her voice so muchhh.

OMG!!!! I hadn't heard of Barry before now. I'm all here for clear bacon; but clear Big Mac is too far for me lol
Two things… I saw someone making a clear cheese burger and I thought “I’m going to wait until Emmy makes this” and two days later here we are with bacon. So I’ll wait for my favorite YT food experimenter. Secondly: this sponsor is finally something I can see myself using. I’ll do my own research to see if the pros and cons are going to fit in my life but I absolutely LOVE this idea. 🤟🏾
I find the see through food amazing! Barry Lewis just made a clear big mac... bonkers..

I love the science of cooking! This was actually pretty cool but does seem like the length of time isn’t worth it. Leave it to Emmy to make a recipe that is weird and cool at the same time. Let’s get Emmy to 3 million SUBS!! Heck YEAH! Thanks so much, Emmy! I so look forward to your videos!

I’m Irish and we call bacon Rashers as in rashers of bacon, there’s streaky and back bacon rashers. Bacon to us would be like a piece of ham that you boil. And a ham is a ham lol!
Emmy, you always do the most interesting experiments!
He just did his clear big Mac! It's amazing! I love you both so much and this is awesome!
I am so glad that you try this stuff so that I don't have to.
"It tastes like ham water hahahaha!" 😋
Fun fact in Canada there is no "Canadian" Bacon, we call it ham, peameal bacon is another thing, but as the name suggests it has a coating of peameal. Bacon to us is traditional cured and smoked pork belly bacon.

Emmy anytime I feel a little down, watching you helps bring me joy and peace thank you for just being you🌹
There's a recipe from the channel Crazy Pieces and Crazy Middles called "Cheez It Chicken" it's chicken covered in cheez it and seasoning and stuffed with Mozerella cheese and it's put in a muffin tin, so it's shaped like a muffin. When you cut into it it's gooey and cheesy!! That would so stinking good to make!! 😊

I had to click. I was intrigued!
Forever marveling at what can be done with potatoes. Also I can see one of the molecular gastronomy fancy chefs using this as a garnish.
pretty dope u can make things like this. amazing
I just got home from work and this is strangely awesome 👏😊
I love the way u speak, the tone of your voice n the way u thoroughly explain things w\o being a bore lol. U would make an awesome high school or middle school teacher. Awesome video, this is always a fun recipe!
Very cool! That would have been something that I could have shown to my elementary school students when I was the Science Lab Teacher. They would have loved it! I wonder if you could adapt this method to make a kind of bacon "candy". Hmm...
❤ The ASMR of that first bite! 🥓
Unlike Canadian bacon, UK bacon is actually not from the loin only. It's referred to as 'back bacon' and is a combination of pork loin with a strip of pork belly hanging off it.
Man. Clear bacon. I wonder how that would go with banana pudding. Actually I wonder if banana pudding would be good? Actually I bet banana pudding would be a great southern favorite. But who would want a video about such a thing?
This is wild😂 thank you Miss Emmy!❤
This is nuts! Amazing!
You come up with the most unusual recipes. How fun. Joyful to watch, you always leave me feeling up-beat and positive.
Emmy and Bob Ross got me through Covid. I was so sick and honestly felt like I probably was not going to make it through. Their voices were so soothing it helped me be calm and breathe

I feel like these clear starch-and-flavor foods like this bacon and those chips would be a good thing to know how to make during hard times when we can't afford or can't find comfort foods. Something maybe to spice up mundane survival rations if we ever find ourselves in a true apocalypse scenario.
Barry and his family are off the scale awesome! 🙌❤️
Awesome as always thanks ❤
I'd love if you and Barry could colab some time. Maybe one of you will holiday near the other and get to do something. You're both such amazing channels with great energy.
I must say, that is an awesome sauce pan. Now I want one.
❤ Simply Delicious ❤ The food looks good too 😋
This is so cool❤
a monstrous creation that flies in the face of the natural order. i love it.
The first Emmy video I ever watched was when she made clear potato chips and I was honestly expecting this to have a similar result. I'm glad it turned out better!
That filter paper looks like the reusable bamboo "paper" towels I have!
“Clear BLT? :P
Earlier I watched Barry Lewis making a clear Big Mac. Now you are making clear food too. It's so cool.
❤wild! Definitely want to try this one ❤
I had never heard of peameal bacon until yesterday and now here it comes up again. LOL Twice in 2 days and never before!
Wow very creative 👏 nice one as always 👍
Lately I've been watching random videos and H-Mart pops up. I just had one open near me (I went in opening day 😊) but I've learned if so many different things that they have that I missed because it was SO busy. I'm going to wait a few weeks and go back and take my time exploring.
Your video, Angelia Mor's "I Made a Clear Sandwich" video, and Barry's feels a lot like the era of youtube that DIY clear stuff was going ham online and reminds me so much of older KZread! Another great video, Emmy!!
This is truly the food of nightmares, or dystopian science fiction. It’s in the same category as that “smooth sandwich” Emmy made that one time. Yikes! I must say, though, I admire Emmy’s always-adventurous attitude toward food, even scary foods like this one.
Oh! I remember when you made a waterdrop cake i think it was called. It was so cool looking.
Barry made a clear Big Mac!
Jones canadian bacon is the BEST!! It's actually made here in my hometown in Wisconsin. I love seeing it "in the wild"
Honestly this doesn’t look all that laborous, just takes a bit of time. The snack itself looks great, I’d love to try it!
That was cool! LOL!!! I may try it when I have time on my hands. I WILL HAVE SOME TIME VERY SHORTLY.
been watching for a long time but i just subbed so you can hit that 3mil congrats
Peameal bacon is what we call it in Canada.
I love that Emmy does these weird concoctions for us. I would never want clear bacon lol.
Her descriptions are fantastic

Oh so fun it would be to make this.
Insanity! 🤣 Bacon, Bacon, Bacon! 🥓 Love you Emmy!
Canadian bacon and peaneal bacon are not interchangeable names. What Americans call Canadian bacon is a kind of circular cut ham. Peameal bacon is made from wet-cured but unsmoked pork loin that is coated in a crust of cornmeal. Prior to WWI, ground, dried peas were used instead of cornmeal, which is where the name comes from. I’ve never seen peameal bacon in the US, only in Canada - and even then it’s centralized around Toronto, where it was invented. For non-peameal Canadian bacon , omit the crust and smoke the loin after curing. The Glen & Friends channel has a video making both. Sincerely, a Torontonian living in NYC who was jonesing for peameal bacon sandwich during COVID.
It seems that you could dissolve salt (without the ground bacon) into the solution, so you don't have to sprinkle it on top.
I watched Barry's video & wondered...will Emmy try? I think Barry might be the British version of you - wholesome food videos & experiments delivered with affable charm.
Emmy, in the time it took to make this "bacon" I could have made at least 20 lbs of regular bacon. 🥓 🥓 🥓 You have the patience of a saint.
let's not forget that Barry Lewis has done things as well… edit: had to fix and nice to know to Emmy credited Barry

I love that last bit where you’re contemplating a clear BLT and you had to stop yourself 😂.
Yes love crispy bacon
The way she surprises herself when she tastes it xD
Try making homemade liquid smoke. It seems most folks think it's artificial or weird chemicals but its typically just real smoke captured through condensation... easy to do at home and tastes better than the store bought stuff, especially with different wood types
The “bacon salt” is amazing on a grilled cheese.
My Son has been watching Barry since high school. I'm relatively new to his channel. Emmy, I saw a rabbit get hit by a car today and was almost tempted to pick it up and make roadkill rabbit, but I knew I couldn't do it. I did cry though, seeing the poor thing get hit.
Alright, Jack Link, get to making this asap.🥓😋

I had to look away when tasted the ham water.😂😂😂
