  I've watched Klyden evolve through the two series and I've just finished "A Tale of Two Topas" today and I can't help but say Klyden can go eff himself. Telling his baby girl he wished she had never been born. Bortus won Best Dad Ever award when he immediately told his little girl, "Listen very closely to me. You are perfect." Bortus is my hero. He tried and tried to make that marriage work and he's the best Dad ever.

  The crew looks at it from earthling points of view. If the child never goes to Moclan or wants to indulge in the culture its will work. But Klydan is dealing with his own truama and culture. I can see both sides to this issue. Though the union rule of requiring only one parent. Im not sure it was meant that way if both are present

  At first when i saw the first episodes i wasnt as keen on this series as im a star trek fan and i am still but i love orvill as a series as it takes the best from star trek and adds its own take with everything from today how parents deal with there own children's beliefs and who they are inside and out this is hard for both to talk about as i came out to my mum and it was hard for her with her ritual beliefs but our bond grow 😢

  She was always my favourite Xelayan, and with how earlier this year I had both shoulders fractured and couldn’t do ANYTHING without assistance 😔 And despite how far I’ve come with recuperation, I feel as pissed at the situation as Alara did when noticing her strength decline. I’ve been known as the strong girl of my family, and to have trouble reaching up high let alone putting/taking something weighty off a shelf is disheartening.

  Okay. First off, I think I've seen one episode of the The Orville: New Horizons, and this scene still got to me. Superb acting, editing, sound mixing, and musical arrangement. That did it. I saw the clip where she sacrificed herself, and that one got to me too. All the years I've been a Star Trek fan, and yet I've barely even given this show a second look. Because of this character, and what she did, and how it moved everyone, including me, will be the reason I give Hulu $20 a month to watch this show. Wow. Every clip of this show I've seen on KZread has either made me laugh out loud, or blown me away. These last two put me in my feelings. Yeah, I'm checking out The Orville: New Horizons. Definitely.
