True till this year, more and more debuts and more focused on visuals and dancing. I mean I understand if they have to use backing track when performing while dancing, coz everyone does that everywhere.... but it just gets to the point where it's almost just autotunes and prerecorded vocals. What a shame, at the time when Kpop is finally entering world market and getting attention in the US, they should prove they are worth the hype. I mean there are some really awesome groups that can do all and sing well live but I hope they remember they are singers too. And shame to those Kpop so called fans who are bullying groups/members with not that good visuals but have really great voices, those are one of the reasons the industry thought people who are into kpop are just into their looks so maybe companies thought that too.

I mean, kai and lisa never sounded as bad as momo during their parts in their encores, that is why they didnt get as much criticism as momo. You just sound biased and pissed because twice got hate for their encores while other groups didnt, but there is a reason behind that that you just dont want to accept lol lesserafim was just as criticized after coachella because they had very bad live vocals there, just as twice in some of their encores (?) in the other hand, blackpink (in the few encores they did) none of the members did it badly, yg is known for having stable vocals (just look at babymonster now). About them not singing live in their concerts or whatever, general public dont give a f*ck about that, they just care about encores because that is where you fully listen to the group (or at coachella), concerts are only for fans and fans dont really care, encores and coachella on the other hand are more available to the general public

As a singer I really despise this whole trend of editing pseudo-live vocals to make them sound perfect because it sets such unrealistic and unachievable expectations on us, and makes us feel like we'll never be good enough no matter what we do, and it's really discouraging :(

I think the standard i hold for kpop idols in the past did not match w the current idols standard, n thats when i realised that its about time for me to move on as it did not gives me the enjoyment anymore. I think the current kpop definitely resonate more w the current gen, n it doesn't seem like the newer fans gives a damn about singing.

Im not sure if international fans do the same compared to korea but surely i am sure some of us do care about vocals. I care more about voices then beauty because they are idols are singers so they need to sing than just dance. And the problem with korea is that everything is so fake and unrealistic. People have to go for surgery just to meet the korea beauty standards. Its all so stupid and since it cant be changed, Im slowly quitting kpop.

Nojima was back peddling after Cloti fans started harassing him for some of the previous comments he made (he said he wasn't sure if Tifa and Cloud would work out together). Nobuo Uematsu said something different about the song, and even the singer said she needed to learn about Cloud and Aeirth's relationship before singing the song. Cloud is the only character she met on a cobblestone street, it's right there in the lyrics if you don't have your head up your ass. Both are canon and you can ship whomever you want, but the lyrics of Hollow and NPTK are pretty clear if you understand the game and a lot of the underlying themes at play.

I'm not a big fan of the girls' groups only a few in 2 and 3 gen were worth their name. The boy's groups always tried the best 2nd and third-gen boys' groups were the shit and worth every hype they got. This is one of the reasons these companies started to give us 20-member groups so we will never be able to tell most of these groups have no talents. Back then the company had 5 or 6 members who put time into training and each had a position and we knew who doing what.
