In other words, try to integrate or adapt yourself into the local culture and norms, rather than be an observer, don't expect things to be like they are wherever you originate from.... applies to any country you may visit.
Great video! Thinking of spending a year in Valencia with wife and 10 year old… Searching for best neighborhood 💕
Sorry, alicante is more better 😂😂😂
You are so correct on so many levels! My other complaints are the constant cigarette smoking. and People who just stop in the middle of the sidewalk, and the people who are so glued to their phones that they dont watch where they are walking! But I love it here in Valencia!
uuu that man is speaking the hard truth about Malaga! Great video Antoanetta! I'm definitely sticking with Valencia. <3 I prefer the "big city" vibe that Valencia has to offer, I feel like Malaga is too small.
Málaga ❤
I am seriously thinking of moving to Malaga in 2025. It's a toss up with Valencia but I'm edging more toward Malaga. I love both cities. Thank you for this vlog. C.J. Ireland.
Excellent comparison! I'm choosing between the two cities now as I want to move to Spain in 2025. This is so helpful guys. Please do some more. Gracias a todos. P.S. Having watched this terrific comparison,Malaga has the lead ! Más,por favor! C.J Ireland.
Valencia 💪💪✌️✌️
Mallorca is the best place on earth because it is the legit Promised Land but people werent supposed to know this until the end of times(now)that's why people had to have the spiritual awakening because they werent taught the truth/real history in school. We are in the age of aquarius which is when the truth would be revealed.Having an open mind is vital and a blessing.Freedom is coming.
I think, if you want super clean, then Switzerland or Austria may offer this. Some parts of Spain are quite clean in the city centre but on the outskirts it can be less so. I have been to the south of the Valencia Communidad near to the Mar Menor. Overall, it is kept fairly well in the towns and shopping centres. However, when you walk or cycle in the area and go through the countryside, I couldn't help but notice the rubbish that had been dumped. It was either bottles or cans thrown into the flood viaduct at the edge of the road, or industrial waste left in the bushes, e.g. Large blocks of concrete, broken plant pots, old sofa's, washing machine's and rubble. Also, the trails were not maintained or kept well, plus there is graffiti, in the strangest of places. I accept that this is probably a less well known or visited part of Spain and other parts of the country are cleaner and better managed. As a generalisation, Nordic countries, seem better kept and managed than Southern European countries, however, they don't have the abundance of sunshine and the same kind of outside living energy. Swings and roundabouts, you can't have it all!
Thanks for featuring me for this epic boxing match ;) I'm gonna stay with my choice of Malaga for the simple fact that I love the locals here, but Valencia is also epic :).. By the way, your editing skills are fiiiiirrreeee
In Málaga you have the beach, the mountains, the Costa del Sol, a lot of villages inside of the province… You will never get bored. Tradition and modernity, you can look for both.
Im a well traveled Brit, grew up in London, lived for a time in Dubai, Ho Chi Minh, and now in Valencia. Couldn't agree more with what Antoanetta says, I love Valencia, with my only regret being how long it took me to find this place
Hello I research your channel and found you happy to found you ,I am a digital marketing and SEO expert thank you again except my comment,
Hello I research your channel and found you happy to found you ,I am a digital marketing and SEO expert thank you again except my comment,
I've visited about 20 cities in Spain. I have lived in Madrid a year but lived in Malaga for almost 3! I liked my visit to Valaencia but yep... Malaga is my home! Love it. Great video guys.
Valéncia hands down for me. I do like Màlaga, its old town, beautiful cathedral and picturesque landscapes, however, I hated the beaches there. The sand feels "dirrty", lots of stones and the water is cold even in summer. Also, I felt more claustrophobic in Màlaga. In València, with beautiful wide beaches, Turia gardens, albufera natural park, I feel I have lots of space to breathe and relax. Honestly, I actually prefer Sevilla than Màlaga and for me it would make more sense to compare València with Sevilla 😉
Antoinette, please has estado en Julio en VALENCIA ? TODO EL MES DE JULIO, LA FIESTA DE LA FERIA DE JULIO . HAS ESTADO EL LA BATALLA DE FLORES DE JULIO ,ES UNA MARAVILLA ,TIENE LAS DE 135 AÑOS DE CELEBRARSE CADA AÑO. Y LOS WEEKENDS FIREWORK,Y MUCHÍSIMAS ACTIVIDADES TODOS LOS DIAS .

This is a great collab. Can you follow up this video with video of something opposite of what you've shown here -- like how do people live and work in offices there. Never seen any people going to office work in your videos (except for the service sector).
Fascinating topic, gracias!
So nice to see you both collaborating ❤ Great perception of both cities. I used to live in Málaga and although I love the city I ended up in València mainly because of the green spaces and amazing beaches. Love your content, keep up the good work 😉
Valencia, by far.
Love the video!
Best is Antalya)
This was such a bummer. Ive planned to move to Spain for 2 years. Confirmed everything I needed for Digital Nomad or Golden Visas. Settled on Valencia after some research and a couple visits. Took spanish lessons for a year. Looked at potential houses and neighborhoods. Found a school for the kids. And now about 14 months before we would go learning about the Wealth tax just makes it a non starter. I budgeted for aggressive income taxes, but not stealing my savings.
Let’s all agree there is not such a thing as an “expat” living in those circumstances. What’s wrong with being an immigrant?
Expat is the more appropriate self description for those who define themselves by what they’ve left. This is clear from their frequent reference to problems in the home country. It may signify dislocation rather than arrogance or entitlement. “Expat” is a tell, but the hand has to play out before you know which. In films, expats are fugitives and spies, or refugees who made good in the new country but long for the old. Or diplomats and multinational execs. Blame and sympathy vary; “expat” covers much ground. Let them speak for themselves. Hard to believe, or yet to be proven, that the channel hosts attach any stigma to immigration. In the wider population, both expat and immigrant are stigmatized.
I was hoping there would be a link to Elliot's channel in your description!
for me defiantly Valencia, love the wide sandy beaches, thank you Antoanetta☺
I am glad that they met, I am a follower of both, but I am more glad that he did not name my city and many others. I like that people go sightseeing and get to know Spain, but European countries are very small and quickly become overcrowded. Tourists don't notice it, but finding a town or a bar like the ones before is starting to be difficult in some areas of Spain. But I like you because you seem to understand it and are reasonable, less merit in the case of Elliot, who is Spanish but thinks he is American.😄
What a great comparison vlog. Thank you! Valencia for me but Malaga is great as well👍🏼
Finalmente, los dos estáis viviendo en España. Por algo será.
Great Video! - Both great cities but I do prefer Malaga - It is the place to be!! - Thank you both for the Video, great job!!
LOL! Good video!!! I'm from Valencia and Malaga is one of the few cities in Spain where I would go to live. They have much in common.
The problem with both of these cities, especially Malaga with the cruise ships, is that the restaurants and shops are specifically set up to take advantage of tourists-this means low quality and high prices and rushed service. Locals have time to learn about the mom and pop shops several blocks outside the tourist areas where the local people know the best recipes from the old days and prepare much better food at a much lower price.
Service and quality of food in Malaga is great
Don’ t agree, I’m from Malaga and there are tons of restaurants with a very high quality and service. Maybe you have to live like a local in order to discover these places.
Better France.
France, future islamic caliphate and her language go to latin company.
NO WAY!! I lived in France for 14 yrs...Finished! It's dangerous, expensive and not 'home'!! Lovely to visit, but not to live!!!
Para deprimirse seguro.
@@tamaramadelin4831 may i ask where did you live in France 14years? Curious because you mentioned its dangers :/
@@clove6435 I lived in Aix en Provence and the countryside outside of Bordeaux. I never felt like it was dangerous, but there is more and more violence mainly in the bigger cities...My French husband keeps up on the news. We live in Portugal now.
Great video! Thanks to out this comparison between this two cities. We love more Valencia over Malaga. Nevertheless Malaga is a beautiful city. Zoe and Ramon
