I want to clarify what she is speaking about 10 minutes into the video in regards to holding passports. Asians in less developed countries such as India, Bangladesh, etc have recruiters who pull talent from those countries promising a fair wage, decent working hours, and decent living conditions. What happens in reality is that many times the workers pay is withheld for 3-8 months at a time, they live in the outskirts of Dubai in workers villages where there are 5-8 people to a room living in bunk beds, essentially a cramped dorm like situation with generally 1 toilet and sink for a complex or several units which is inadequate. This the Dubai you do not see, the dark side of Dubai also available on KZread. Also most people of European decent are from Australia or U.K. With the archaic laws and now 9% tax in Dubai there are better options for high network individuals ( per the Nomad Capitalist and Wealthy Expat channels). Dubai is a place you vist or live for a few years in your 20s or maybe 30s. With 8.1 billion people on the planet Dubai will be ok but could improve it's legal system, jails, and also the living conditions of its workers who live in camps on the outskirts of the city, not to mention government and embassy penalties for employers withholding passports to discourage the practice.

If the climate of Dubai were more like that of southern Europe or Southern California, it would be more competitive. However, places in the US like Las Vegas or Phoenix also swelter during the summer, but they over the past 90 years have managed to grow, even flourish. As for the politics & government of the UAE, they make me uneasy. But the politics & government in many sections of the US give me pause too. Look at what's going on right now in American cities like San Francisco. But reality is a mixed bag. Both good & bad exist in every place, but percentages do vary. It's also a matter of which part of the up or down cycle a person is caught in.

Do girls participating in the Dubai Porta Potty qualify as “ex-pats”?

I was living about 30 minutes from Valencia over last summer and visited Valencia several times. It's not that great and relatively poor with ugly buildings and it didn't feel particularly secure but obviously nothing like American cities. I have no idea what she sees in Valencia because I wouldn't live there long term. I'm now based near Benidorm and it's much nicer although more expensive.

To each their own. I visited Valencia while living in Barcelona and was truly surprised how it had so much to offer and wished that I studied abroad in Valencia than Barcelona. No need to bring others down just because you have a different opinion.

You've obviously never had authentic American food. Have you ever had Salmon in Seattle, WA; shrimp and grits in New Orleans, Lobster in Maine, Texas-style BBQ; or Ciopinno in San Francisco? Just because you've had McDonalds and Taco Bell does not mean you've tried authentic American food. I'm sure having paella in a touristy restaurant does not represent authentic Spanish paella. @@davidgimenez2050

Even better that she's not an American feminist. She's a feminine Eastern European woman with traditional values from Bulgaria. She's a better class of woman.😅
