I remember when I was younger if you wanted toilet paper at the ladies bathroom at El Saler Beach, you had to tip the attendant otherwise they did not provide you with any.

Gloating here! Was a student in Florence in the 70's. The museums were free. You all could not touch the food we ate for the price. Learn to speak Italian, that gets you a 30% discount on life. Use your words. Can you say Medieval?
