JP needs 1000 tick box to get praises. While others, esp. big si6 one great save is enough.
Westie was great, but in the 70s goalkeeper was a😮 real problem area. George Wood was probably the best of a bad bunch. Southall is by a long way the best Goalkeeper I've seen in my time along with Gordon banks and Smiechel. Pickford is the best by a mile since Smeichel. That save against Chelsea was the greatest save I've seen and includes Banks in 1970 against Brazil.Disgusting the way he gets treated by the media.
oh well, last season at the Grand Old Lady, onward and upward to Bramley Moor .......UTFT
Most pundits are out field players, but surprising how many of them are expert goalkeepers 😂
Brilliant that, thanks boys
Bad defeats? Well I look no further than 5th November 1989 and that infamous 6-2 thrashing at Villa.I was only 13 at the time and don't think I'd even seen us concede 4 in a game at that point so to see us let 6 in was a.totally new experience. We'd have gone back to the top of the league with a win but got humiliated live on tv and our title bid quickly fell away after that. Also a certain Bill Kenwright had just joined the board. That defeat signalled the end of the glory days and it was all downhill after the 80s success. I remembered getting hammered in school the next day off all the armchair redshites.
Jodie comer takes my pen cause she's killing it .
well in lads enjoyed it as always
And Dixie Dean's old club
There’s a piece in the Echo on that move… www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/club-officials-suspected-transfer-hoax-29459210
@@TheBlueRoomEFC Thanks for that ,Dixie in red ..ooh ..need a lie down .
@@ianclarke3627 😅
Literally said (to myself !) 3 seconds before Kevin did. I'd have Robbie Fowler.
It’s a hell of a shout
Could never have guessed my changies/music questions would end up there 😂 mailbag is class 💙
Haha! Thanks for getting involved, mate
@@TheBlueRoomEFC loving it all the way from Aus #UTFT
@@benhawthorne97 ls right, mate. Love it✊
😂 why would you end up in jail for removing a sponsor from a shirt 🤣
These days… 😂
Dyche is gonna love Ndiaye, he’s a tenacious grafter who’s actually silky and good on the ball too. If you want a picture of what he plays like just imagine Cunha at Wolves or Gibbs White, coincidentally we liked and chased both of those players before they went to Wolves and Forest
Like the sound of this, mate. Bang into the club doing business already - hopefully we can start ot look forward to a season starting for once
These lads we're linked with don't seem like Dyche signings to me same as Danjuma...
@@pmacca4830 I get that but we still don’t really know what a Dyche signing looks like because of the clubs he’s been at have had to take whoever they could get and make do. One thing we can say though is if there’s one attribute or characteristic that Dyche won’t put up with it’s a lack of effort. Danjuma played like he was in the garden with his kids and nothing was on the line, not a good trait when you’re in the trenches
Beat Leicester 2-0 away wearing that green kit too
Ah yeah, Richarlison and Holdate. It's such a good kit
Rather have Audley Harrison..It's a pity we don't own the Hot Wok with Chelsea an their hotels
Haha! He's not that bad, is he? 🙈
i hate to be the person who says such and such a young player can step up. but i do want to say that chermiti started the season looking quite far off where he'd need to be, but then by the end of the season he was starting to look impressive. can he improve even more? i like beto, i like the endeavour, and i recognise the reality that if we want him to do well we need to play through balls and then he can outmuscle defenders with the ball at his feet on the way to the goal. he's not like DCL at all. will dyche ever set the team up to service beto in such a way tho? and going back to chermiti... he does seem a little DCL-like. speaking of beto tho, the dan friedkin thing makes me wonder will beto be going back to italy with roma? and here's another question, is dan friedkin going to want his own man? i.e. after everything, will dyche fall victim to the new owner? and even if dyche gets a stay of execution, we know that one blip will likely be all the excuse a new owner needs to bring in their own manager. so, having said all that, it's mad to think thelwell and dyche are out there putting a squad together for a dyche style... and that might all be ripped up before the start of the season anyway? i'm not happy that dan friedkin is a massive republican, but most billionaires are gonna be conservative kn0bh34ds aren't they? it is what it is in the current climate of football club ownership. just made up it's not 777 or an oil country with a horrible dictator.
Yeah, no such thing as a good billionaire - just less bad ones. It would be harsh on Dyche to have brought stability and then get the bullet because of a new owner, but hopefully decisions will be made on results and nothing else. The last thing the club needs is more self-inflicted drama.
@@TheBlueRoomEFC yeah, i'd love to hold onto dyche for the continuity. especially either side of the stadium move, reckon dyche could be the ideal man to protect the players from the "noise" of the final season at goodison and the first season at bmd.
Definitely Monday off 🙂
My step dad once offered lord derby to fight for his land when we lived and worked in his knowsley park estate .
😂
Nah , you cannot repeat the utter garbage that there's no difference between the gov and opposition. One wants to force national service on the youth and labour want to give 16 year olds the vote .jeez.
There are a depressing amount of similarities though. My worry is they'll do nothing to make things any better because they're terrified to try anything, and leave the door open to some horrile right-wing shitbags.
I’m shocked by the reaction to Dobbin, he’s not ready yet and he came back to Everton after failing to make a mark in league ONE! If young players are good enough then they’ll play eg Branthwaite and at Burnley before it he played McNeil and Brownhill
Dave... Please stop interrupting the guests when they are speaking... Very annoying, I'm sure for them too!
Bless you Kev..😢
Well said Paul. Rest in peace Kev 💙
Psr.. Buy on klarna.. What a business model for these times
Lovely tribute lads. Real lump in the throat time listening to that. A lovely guy taken from us too soon
WhatwasBK role in Rooney move
There's always the talk that we needed to sell him to balance the books, so how did the club get in such a state? And surely having the world's hottest young football - a genuinely generational talent - on the books would have opened up a lot of revenue streams. Still annoy the shit out of me to this day
No one else notice Paul drinking out of a bong?
Haha! Maybe it wasn't a drink
Trevor Steven to rangers. I'm still not over it. 😢
What a shout. A wonderful player. I played right back at the time so Gary Stevens going was a killer for me too
Alan Ball, I cried when he left. I was 14 and a regular at the matches. What a shock that was. UTFT
Yeah, can imagine how horrible that was. Seemed to kick start the Toffees decline, along with holding on to Catterick for too long
Alex Young v Spurs 1963 Gladys Street end won us Championship in 1963
As an Arsenal supporter, I have never gone and watched a full episode of another club, today is my very first out of love for a very special man
thanks, mate. He really was a one-off - such a massive loss in so many ways
💙👏🏻😢 RIP Super Kev, the absolute legend.
R.I.P Kevin Campbell you will always be a Everton Legend 👍🏽
The good die young sadly. God bless you Kevin Campbell we'll never forget you.❤❤❤
Sadly miss rip super Kevin Campbell Everton. Hero he was to us everton fans 😪☘️☘️
RIP SUPER KEV A EVERTON GREAT😢😢
So sad to hear the news ,Kevin Cambell, came to Everton when we were struggling at the wrong end of the table his goals and his personality lifted the club and we survived, he continued to excel with not only his goals but his personality Mr sunshine on and off the pitch,God bless Kev a TRUE LEGEND at No 9.
He really was a great fella and a great footballer. Such a sad loss. Lovely to hear how many people thought so highly of him.
Lovely words guys. Gutted Arsenal fan here. Had the honour of meeting the king a couple of times. Asked him about his greatest memories of his career expecting him to say winning the league, cup winners cup with Arsenal. He said it was great to win trophies with his boyhood club but his loan stint where he helped Everton stay up was up there with anything he'd achieved. RIP Super Kev.
Ah man, that’s so nice to hear. He had such a big impact at both our clubs, a real loss to everyone.
Yeah we're all feeling it not just evertonians and gunners every football fan just a gentleman and a great player who will be sadly missed RIP big fella
Gone but never forgotten. RIP SUPER KEV.
He’ll always have a special place in our hearts. A great fella as well as a great player.
Rip Super Kevin Campbell, great player and man. UTFT
Absolutely devastating news to wake up to. Kevin Campbells status as a legend and icon for Everton cannot be underestimated. Without him, Everton would have gone the way of a Sheff Wed or like how Sunderland are now. He was my first Everton hero growing up. Legend. RIP Super Kev
He gave us hope when there really was none and is a true footballing hero. We’ve lost a wonderful fella far too soon.
Had the privilege of meeting him 4 times when I was a kid. My first Everton hero and an absolute class act of a human being. Never failed to make us blues smile until the sad news of today. I feel for his family and friends to lose such a special man. This one hits hard but we'll always have a plethora of great memories of the great man. Not all heroes wear capes! RIP Super Kev! 💙
It has hit everyone really hard, hasn’t it. Some lovely comments about him though, and that must have been wonderful meeting him a few times as a kid 💙
Horrible news. RIP Super Kev. Thanks for all you did for us Blues 💙
RIP Kevin
We have lost a true Everton Hero, his passion for the game inspired all he played with. His love for the club and the fans, he will always be one of our own. Thoughts to his family at this sad time. God bless Super Kev, thanks for those special memories. RIP
He really lifted us when we were down and out and had very little to cheer about. Such a big loss to everyone.
Sad, sad news..... Apart from being a great player while he was at Everton. Loved the way when he was asked in recent years about Everton getting relegated he always said positive things and the belief we wouldn't be relegated and he was right.. RIP KC
He was such an upbeat fella. That must have had a massive impact going into a relegation threatened team. Absolute one of a kind. A huge loss to us all.
Hit me like a hammer this news absolutely devastated a true gentleman and a Everton icon
It’s a real tough one to take isn’t it. Lost a brilliant fella far too soon.
Super Kev was one of those rare people who's mere presence lifted everyone lucky enough to meet him, I hope at BMD we have a legends tribute area and Super Kev is given his fitting place upfront. Sad day for all football.
Yeah, he deserves a lasting tribute. A wonderful fella who had as positive an impact on our club (and others) as anyone ever has
RIP from a gutted Gooner. He was such a lovely guy. Hopefully there will be a fitting tribute when our teams meet next.
It’s really knocked the stuffing out of all of us, hasn’t it. As you say, hope the clubs put a fitting tribute together for when we next play.
A true legend for us and arsenal rip big man just a gentleman and a great player condolences to the family and close friends
Gutted. Awful news
Lost a great fella far too soon.
