    What would be helpful is if you could find a single example of a company that embraced the need to address EE/EX and successfully transformed EX to the extent that the transformation impacted company performance. The EE/EX tools, experts, authors, seminars, and webinars have grown exponentially for decades, yet the needle, according to Gallup's 2024 assessment, has gone down again. It's no secret there are successful companies, but featuring the successful ones' suggesting that "you too can be successful" without any examples of transformation occurring isn't helpful. Here's what ALL the experts avoid. Citing examples of successful EX transformations, the process used, how it was led, what the baseline was, how long it took to manifest in the income statement, how the results were measured, the cost, and whether the transformation was sustainable. This is a multibillion-dollar business with little in the way of results. "Hey, look what they did" is hardly a solution.

    Failure comes from the top: If one looks at nvidia. That’s a costumer vision centric. No bs. Knowledge and seeing around the corner as was said by nvidia. What is your solution and vision. All I hear is none actionable by he. She needs vision and understanding of what future generations are capable of achieving. New blood and vision. Looking forward doesn’t cut it.

    Hey man, You have to stop comparing workers from undeveloped societies to the U.S. You are smart enough to know why. Lastly, folks from undeveloped societies like Haiti & South Africa, where I have roots, don't always see the toxicity that exists in America. For example, places like Mexico, where the CEO is from, watch people get stabbed on a day-to-day basis. Where here in the states, we emotionally abuse workers.

    Emotional intelligence is applied very well by people who wants to get ahead in compamies. Couple this with their sefish streak and they will come across as nasty. I have seen this behaviour depending on who they talk to. Higher up then them - two faced and always accommodating. Lower than them - condescending and relentless in their approach. It is the state of many companies which only cares about money. That's why I personally enjoy working for smaller companies.

    Jack Welch was a manager with autocratic pacemaker style. BUT, he was NOT a LEADER and did NOT created leaders - please forgive -just other managers-. All this out of my experience and professional work on him in the Boston Business Club - @ a Leadership Master Week in Boston. We invited guest speaker from Harvard on him - as a case study. His inner circle loved him because he applied -very view- of important leadership traits. Outside of this circle - they hated to be there. + right so: When his "managers" left, were they able to lead another company immediately - plug + play? No. "sand the corners". True leaders can lead immediately. The took his coercive style with them, finding out that this style ony works when the house is burning. Jack Welch, was lucky, from my perspective, that his age restricted him from one more round as a CEO. That would. have let him fail, as this leadership style does not work for an organisation in massive growth and transformation. His style works only in turnaround and only shortly. Open to share some insights, as well about Musk, Steve Jobs, Jack...))) With great respect Gerald

    Sounds just like the expectations of what men and women expect in relationships these days. I'm starting to notice there's a lot of people in this world that just are evil as f***! Others just need some healing and don't know what they do others have just been hurt so they're going through that painful ending, survival mode, kind of a ebitter b**** phase, a f****** emotional rollercoaster! More times than not people don't know how to identify the emotions they are feeling. Which can have a detrimental effect on relationships and heights negative emotions. So most are alone not dating or traumatized but automatically expected to have it all together, emotionally intelligent, street smart, be a mind reader that auto knows what the other is going through without communication.

    Can reading a book make you emotionally intelligent ? Can a therapist help you no. Nothing. It is an environment that can make u emotionally intelligent and where does that environment comes from years of evolution where pieces have been in right direction make you emotional intelligent. If you are born and grown in right environment you will reap its benefits and if you are r not then you will keep on per-suing whole life but will never be one to make your life better.

    Cringe. The guest was disgusted with how opinionated the interviewer was… i don’t know why the algorithm showed me this but it was the first and the last because the interviewer poses as an advocate of very tough management but then has a book called “lead with vulnerability”… lol what a bunch of BS! Younger generations have, fortunately, many more options than your dad… And CEOs know this really well. Which leads to question if indeed you talked with any real CEOs, EVER?!

  • @JacobMorgan
    @JacobMorganАй бұрын

    First of all he wasn't disgusted, I've had him on the show a few times and we always have a great chat. Second, the concept of tough management is not opposed to vulnerability. If you read the book you will see I advocate for competence + connection. Third, I've talked with and interviewed close to 2,000 CEOs.
