Sandi Brock

I am a mom, a wife, and a farmer. In that order (most days).
This channel is all about wading the waters of these three versions of me... Learning new things each day, and sharing them with you.
Authentically, sheepishly me.

I echo your sentiments about the rain. It keeps raining where I am too. Enough is enough. Later on this summer I’ll be asking for rain for my garden. Just can’t win!

It looks like you had better go into the weaning pen armed from now on to defend yourself.😊 The ducks were cute trailing momma thru the grass❤ The new building site looks absolutely huge!! You could almost put all of your other outbuildings in it😊

Sandi, were you good at sheep from the first day, or did it have a learning curve? Its the same with gardening. You have to research and study and practice and over the course of years, it comes together. No baby is born knowing how to garden. No baby was born knowing how to sheep farm. No baby was ever born knowing how to grain farm. You have to learn it. If you can handle all the complex tasks you are doing, you can handle gardening. It is just a question of having time to put into it. Praying that things will clear up, so you can get done.

I’ve NEVER seen the northern light in person. Hubby use to see them and a lot of shooting stars when he worked the fields at night. 💐💚🙃

How does KZread allow us to watch wild dogs, hyenas, eat animals alive, but we can't watch a ewe give birth? Talk about messed up!!

Just a couple ideas related to this post: my grandpa used to carry a ty-vek tarp in the tractor for rocks - spread it out by the rock, roll the rock onto the tarp, and then drag the rock by pulling on a courner/side of the tarp (to ty-vek makes it slide SO EASY). As to repetition in order to better learn, consider recording what Mark shows/demonstrates/teaches you, then saving the recording by subject/equipment to watch and refresh the next time you do it. LOVE - LOVE - LOVE your channel!!!!

My husband when he was younger used to work all night in the fields. Not a huge farm but he was about the only one who took care of the fields, getting them ready for planting, planting and fertilizing also weed control. Sometimes I would watch out the windows to see him on the tractor going back and forth, well watching the head lights anyway. Easy to see when he was taking care of the hill acreage. 💐💚🙃 PS he LOVED working the fields at night. ❤️💐💚🙃

One of the worst evenings of my life was babysitting my friend's 3-month-old baby boy who had only ever been breast-fed. He was firmly convinced I was trying to poison him with that stinky rubber nipple. Giving him a taste of his own mom's breast milk didn't stop his outraged howls. Any new moms out there? do yourself & your baby a huge favour & give the babe at least 1 feed a day w/a rubber nipple. 🙄💕💕
