She passed during her golden hour by laying in the sun with family and friends feeling all the love she could.

Sandi, what i love and admire the most about you is the love you have for your flock. You found a way to create a space for your retired ewes instead of the alternative. That makes you an amazing shepardess. And not just sheep. Evidently raccoon mamas and babies too! Rest in sweet peace, Big Mama. You were such a joy to watch.

At least Big Mama is no longer in pain and she has found Ruby.

RUBY! Yes. So hard on Sandi. But I know the joy and love outweighs the pain. We have lost many dogs over the years, and I still love each of them. I do believe we will see them again.

I laughed too.

She had Lovely Golden days! Her life was with you, not outside 24/7 lambing in some open field with predators to worry about all the time. You keep them safe, you love them. And it shows. She was Sassy, and voluptuous and proud of her curves. And in the end she went sunbathing with her friends and when the sun left she followed.

She walked outside,took a breath of fresh air and laid down. She knew it was time. Rest in peace Big Moma.❤🐑❤️

The niggle came to me too. 2nd time this year. The other was the Alaskan couple I follow, their dear old dog. I saw that one very strongly and yes, gone on the next video. I never get that feeling and it doesn’t eventuate.
