It's been worst stuff that happened to other players and was able to bounce back from it. But also he is older now and the league doesn't tolerate that type of stuff from older players. Thats why Draymond cool off on his antics because if Draymond didn't he was going to be out the league too. It's one thing to trash talk players while playing that's fine but it's another thing to throw a ball at someone's head and not do a interview because they not sub to your podcast. Unprofessional and dirty. My guess is he will be suspended because of Adam soft silver. If it was the other commissioner pat would have been gone for longer maybe been kicked out right then and there.

To be honest, I blame Durant for the Sun's failure. I'm sure he played somewhat of a GM role with the acquisition of Bradley Beal. Considering that the Suns made it to the finals in 2021, I find it hard to believe that their front office is that incompetent.

It's not the CBA per se -- it's that the top salaries are just disproportionate to the salary cap. Yes, I personally think superstars who ought to win should forego $10 million a year (they'll still make plenty) to guarantee that their supporting cast will be strong, but that's a separate issue. The league has made it so that superstars, on average, are detrimental to roster health. It's a little stupid. BUT, also, keep in mind that a lot of GMs want to make money more than they want to win, and even having a fragile superstar who won't get you into the playoffs might sell more tickets over the season than a no-superstar team that makes it to the second round.

I've been thinking if they traded Trae to SA. Obviously, it is good you get your picks back, and if Hawks want to rebuild, fine. But if Hawks still wants to compete. The Spurs has no player that'll help win now. And i wonder if they'll be more teams buying in the draft for cheap since it considered to be a bad draft

I think the NBA Draft Lottery is pretty bad because of how many teams stay bad for years whereas in the NFL teams can go from the bottom to the top pretty quickly. Look at one draft recently did for a team like the Texans or the Packers ! from the depth of despair trading away their franchise QB to a playoff-caliber team.

It's funny watching how many teams tanked and their fans are complaining because they didn't hit #1. Some folks keep arguing otherwise, but tanking is NOT a good strategy. Looking at the outliers who seem to get everything they want (San Antonio) doesn't compare to smart front offices being competitive and knowing when to pull the trigger on trades (See: OKC). As the Bulls fan who is anti-tanking, there were quite a few worse teams than us who didn't get top picks.

7:58 time stamp. They had the no. 1 overall. Cade Cunningham is just "OKAY ". So rhey didnt blow it. But they have kinda blown it with Jaden Ivey and Ausuar Thompson. All 3 players "need the ball" and there is only one ball. Matas Buzelis is a 6'10" shooting guard from G League Unite. If he falls to them at 5 they caught a blessing. Either him or the big 7'2" kid from UConn and the Pistons can get serious about competing.

So I’m a Raptors fan, and I’m here to provide some context on how our season imploded. Namely, to end the season, four of our five starters had either been injured (Scottie and Jakob both missed the last 20+ games of the year), or had faced personal tragedy off the court (RJ and Immanuel both lost close family). We were a G League team cosplaying as an NBA team toward the end. I’m personally on the Flagg copium for next year though, since the pick to SA is at least conveyed this year.
