Anthony Davis will not be traded for Embiid. Davis is ok with being in the shadow of Lebron while actually carrying the team. Embiid would not be ok with that. He wants the accolades almost as much as Lebron.

Would you trade a late 1st for a year of LeBron? I think most contending teams would and if he puts out the word that he's coming if you draft his son, then I can see him getting drafted.

@Really........ I'm not making a case for it to work. I'm saying most teams close to a chip would do it. Even more, owners would instruct their GMs to do it just for ticket sales. If all it would cost is a late 1st in a weak draft to ensure a year of Bron then it makes a ton of sense.

@Really........ I think he's set on owning the Vegas franchise which means he needs every dollar he can get his hands on. Personally, I don't think it Bronny declares. I think some school will step up and overpay Bronny for an NIL and Bron will do a new deal with the Lakers. I don't think this is about Bronny. It's about Bron getting the Lakers to drain their remaining assets for another star as well as give Bron an extension.

Yknow i don't suspect it to happen at all, but knowing Mark cuban. I wouldn't be surprised if he tries to force the Mavs into drafting Bronny to get Lebron here in Dallas. Cuban in the past operated as the poor man version of the Lakers who wants to snag every star player but obviously never could. But with Lebron liking Luka and being friends with Kyrie, i wouldn't be surprised to see rumors of Lebron and Dallas tied together. As for i as a fan would want Lebron here in Dallas? Hell no! If Lebron was younger then maybe but i rather get someone else who's actually younger and complements Luka better

Bron's "playing at a high level" is smoke and mirrors. AD played his a$$ off this year and was pretty healthy and with Bron at " a high level"...got them a play-in bid and a first round exit. Ain't too many players better than AD that want to play with the drama circus that is LeBron at 40 years old. So if they get Trae Young...it is going to be the Suns 2.0. Trading depth to get a 3rd star who put up numbers on mid to bad teams and will probably get hurt. If I am the Lakers, I keep LeBron but I ain't doing nothing dramatic to change the roster cause dude is 40 and you need to start thinking life after Bron being that life with him is mid at best.

If he wants to get to the Finals, he'd be best served to head out East. And where would he be a perfect fit in the East? Cleveland. Or Boston. I have a hard time seeing the Lakers get to the Finals. They'd have to go through Minnesota or OKC, and both look to be just getting better.

@@And.One.Hoops1 Cleveland could probably work out some kind of sign and trade for him and Cleveland is a destination he would probably be okay to spend his final years with since he has a lot of history with them and his mother still lives in Ohio, that's a destination that makes a lot of sense for him. Also, a team with LeBron James, Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, and Evan Mobley could probably make it through a relatively weak East and into the finals.

LeBron should play for free if LA agrees to draft his kid. He and Bronny can afford it and the Lakers could go get 1 or 2 more helpers. Just a thought.
