He will never have to work a day in his life. I guarantee he doesn't care about a degree. LBJ's bloodline is set for hundreds of years if money is managed properly lol. Lebron currently makes 50mil year. Assume he stays for another 5 years. That's $300mil including this year, alone + whatever else he's made the past 20 years. With just 300 mil and an average return of 7% invested, that's $21,000,000 that 300mil would net him yearly. He's likely close to a billionaire. Nobody born after Bronny in that family will ever have to work. Assume he has 1bil in assets that can be invested, that's $70 mil a year net gain at 7%. That compounds year after year, after whatever you need to live off of comes out of that $70mil. That first million is a hurdle for anyone, but anyone with a million generally will never have to work again with proper investing. LBJ is worth a billion.

Hyperbole my guy. The fuck you mean Elite 3pt shooter? To be a reserve? Only a handful of players are considered elite from 3. It's not a common thing. He needs to get to about 36-38% for his position just to keep defense honest at the perimeter. That's called serviceable, hell......I'd even go as far as to say average. So, no he doesn't need to be elite at shooting 3s to be effective. He needs more time to bake in the oven as it stands. Why are we rushing the kid?

Maybe he can get there, but if so he needs more time. Him having a cardiac arrest is entirely understandable in terms of affecting him, and he’s got balls to get back on a court after something like that happening - seriously, full credit to him - but he’s just not there yet.

Hey the guy is talented enough to play in college but going pro is a different level. I feel for him it’s hard shoes to fill. I was in a similar situation. My dad played in the MLB as a journeyman on MLB teams and I was a great baseball player but not at his level. When I was in middle school and high school and if I didn’t hit a home room every at bat people would say “oh I thought you were supposed to be good.” I was good and still played at a major D1 program but I did not have my dad size, talent, or passion. My grandparents told me my dad was obsessive with baseball would throw a tennis ball against a brick wall for house. Would ride his bike to the batting cages, would watch games and analyze players swing, would beg kids in their neighborhood to play, would make my grandfather pitch to him, jog the gym, constantly watched what he ate. I did not go to those lengths of obsession. I practiced hard but not in my off time. With the exception of rare talents it takes a work ethic unlike no other to play at a pro level and stay there. Some guys I played in college with played in the MLB and they were just naturally gifted along with a passion and work ethic that could not be matched. My dad told me in high school to be realistic with my goals. He was open about it day 1 saying it will be difficult for me to go pro and that heart is only one piece of the equation but some of it is natural talent and genetics.

To be a pro player at NBA level it requires both phisical and neuro tallents (extreme eye hand cordination and high game IQ) the best thing that could happen to aspiring athlete is to fin out early if he is cut for pro level or not. My recomendation is not to train like crazy, but train normal and see if tallents shine and if tallent is obvious then pushing to pro level makes sense. If tallents ate not there focus on another career and just enjoy the badketball without any expectation

Even more silly when you compare the scale of how much sports means to Europeans (people setting off flares in an indoor basketball court ffs), to how parents at little league games act in the US. Not saying over protective/competitive parents don't exist in Europe, but at most it's a light scuffle, but people pulling out weapons at a children's sports games in the US (and more than just a few times) is fucking insane.

LeBron constantly overestimating him puts unnecessary pressure on him and also makes him a target. If basketball doesn't work out for him he'll be fine with that generational wealth. LeBron needs to chill on the hype because it's likely getting into Bronnys head and affecting his play

Man I always said colleges can hurt your game coming out of high school depending where you go. Coaches are over controlling and most of the time won’t let you be the player you’re capable of being. You have to play within their system or else

Without that connection he would be a 2-3 star recruit. With work, time, and production, some 2-3 star recruits make the NBA and some are even NBA stars. Bronny has an uphill climb to make NBA but I don’t rule it out

I’ve heard athletes explain the reason why Suoerstars aren’t good coaches or teachers is the absolute best at a sport are so good that they don’t think about it they process decisions and movements so fast it becomes second nature and that’s almost impossible to teach, where as a player who had to fight every day to get a contract or stay on a roster has to focus on the little things better then everyone else, because they work so hard to learn it they can be great at teaching it
