It’s not netgear it’s netduma. Their R3 is fucking shite. Their software is crap. Netgear isn’t the best no but them leaving them has exposed netduma and their lack of talent

I have the xr700 & Im afraid to install - XR700 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.363. My xr700 is working great with AT&T fiber 1000 and Im afraid this beta will brick or mess up the xr700. I guess I’ll continue to just use the official netgear firmare updates.

It is second network, yes. But it is not separated, you changed only lan setting which means that it is still on the same subnet, which means that by using router 2 you can still access router 1 and viceversa.
For over 10 years I haven’t been able to play games on a competitive level because all of the sudden online my games felt weird and it wasn’t lag but when I play offline everything seems to work great and plays nice and smooth , so please if thers anything you guys can help me with I really want to stream again but online I don’t experience a nice smooth and snappy experience

Can you assign the router its own mac address?
Ping isn't the only thing to look for. Just because you have low ping doesn't mean you will have a better game experience. Some servers have better tic rates and overall better performance. Its best to play different servers to see whats best for you.
hve the xr500 gonna get the newer xr.xxxx with the new x3 software, when i make the xr500 into an access point, and my xbox is connect to the access point, ill still be able to use the netduma functions for gaming from the one running the newer software(x3)?
Nextdns works on Tenda Router and also, Nextdns doesn't run with other DNS like AdGuard, Opendns and other.

Do not believe the hype, this device does nothing to improve your gaming experience in COD and I have used it for around 3 months consistently. Makes no difference if you just go with your current ISP's router. Good support as Netduma respond back but when getting advice they tell you to turn this on, that off and it's blind luck, hoping something will stick even to the point where they blame your gaming console which has no issues. Geo filtering does not work and I get servers coming into my radius all the time from global locations despite having strict mode on. Turning off geo latency and steady ping makes no difference. Ping assist no difference. Massive COD player and got a good overall KD. Bought this to try and get an edge but with sbmm a real thing this router does not level you up. It is purely psychological at this point giving you a false sense of hope. Netduma do not show a full 10 minute video on any COD multiplayer game to give you the actual low down on what is happening, but I can safely say even with a 2.36 KD before I bought this device it's made me regress big time to the point of no return. Hit markers don't register, get taken down with a single shot, have to unloaded all ammo and still cannot get 1 kill. Save your money and do not waste time in a product that does not work.

Have you changed your mtu to 1200 ? you have to set it to 1200 because the default value ( 1500 ) gives you inconsistent buffer bloat & inconsistent speeds. try setting it to 1200 aswell as tweaking your Ethernet adapter. that will help. If you need my settings lmk. I was getting 20up / 100up Now I’m getting 300+down / 100+up

Is there an option in R3 settings to enable / disable “Traffic Prioritisation”? Similar to XR500?
I have friends on different platforms and we play together. Is there a whitefish option while geofilter is on so I can play together with them? Or can I just add them?
Good video and guide. I have the Asus TUF AX-3000 router and have found though lots of testing, that by limiting the Adaptive QoS to a maximum cap of 300Mbps is the only way to completely eliminates Bufferbloat on this router. So far this provides a consistence A+ score with 0ms latency added for both download and upload. My unloaded latency is 4-5ms on a 500Mbps symmetrical fibre connection. I believe the main limitation is due to the router CPU bottleneck which means I will need to upgrade if I wish to benefit from the full bandwidth of my connection.

I currently bought the xr1000 by accident because I was looking for the Netduma R3 on amazon. I ended up buying the R3 as well and it's not impressive, actually going to end up returning the R3. Simply put everyone that wanted Netduma to succeed stood behind them. It's why I bought these routers. But to no avail after having in possession and visiting the forum I now know without a doubt Netduma has great ideas that get poorly implemented along with really bad update maps. They fail to deliver on their product. Even with the broken features in xr1000 it seems you'll get a slightly better experience from it versus the netduma R3. I'm seriously frustrated because all in all the 2 routers are 500 bucks easily so I could have gotten the ROG Asus router that supports loading WRRT and opensource os' and gotten better hardware.

Copy pasting this to every Nighthawk X1000 video i find, i have 900mb down, 40 up. Dual PC setup. bought the router to prevent packet lost, using cat7 cables. I play valorant with a goal to Radaint, and content creation. I stream. upgraded from cat5 to cat6 to cat7, I still get horrfic packetloss 5-10+% sometimes 15-20%, bufferbloat ratings that change from A+ to B to D random days, ranging from 90,80,70,60,50,40 and 30% QOS settings in DumaOS at random intervals with download and upload, streming or not streaming. I have done every single network congig i could think of over 2 years of troubleshooting. Logically I am lost as to what I can try next. open to new solutions thanks.
Have u tried specifying the ip address from router to ur console. And maybe add v6 into ur dns? And again make it specific. If all fails id wire that mofo up to the router and see if thats still the case.
