3ms is within margin of error for the test, and it's definitely not noticeable.

Dscp doesn't lower ping, it simply prioritizes tcp packets when the network is maximg out

DSCP cant be config on comercial routers, but it can be config on 3rd party firmwares like Open wrt

It can. Its xbox side only. Doesn't matter what router or modem you have.

Im not very tech smart but for the last 3 years since I’ve moved into a new place I lag in all my games and my inputs are delayed I saved up and paid £300 to have fibre optics and a master socket fitted so I can have a wired connected so I’m now at 15mb download speed and 23ms but I’m still lagging does anyone have anything that could help?

I'd suggest getting a NetDuma R2. It has QOS for lag & geofilter for finding the best servers.

Yes! The NetDuma R2 is a router that is built specifically for gamers. It has QOS ( Quality of Service) that currently you can adjust so that you don't lag. They're working on a new system that will take care of all the adjusting for you. They also have a feature called the Geofilter. The geofilter is a map of the world that you can see the peer or servers Ping that you're playing against. It also allows you to block bad connections so that you never connect to them again. Example: your playing call of duty or your favorite shooter and you're lagging everywhere. Then it switches lobbies and it feels great. That's most likely due to a server issue and the geofilter allows you to block that server while it's having trouble so that you don't connect. The third big thing is pain heat map which allows you to see the ping for all of your favorite games. You can use the information within the heat map and go over to the geofilter and Mark out servers that have the lowest ping that way you always connect to them and never connect to ones that have high ping.

The router may pass the tag without QOS.
